Upgraded main and wide angle cameras. Increased sizes on the pro phones. Camera Control button on the entire line. Increased RAM on the base models. Action button on the base models. Increased battery life, and redesigned internal to make battery easier to replace. Are these iterative changes? Sure. The smartphone has matured and is now in the small iterative phase. But the upgrades are way more than the 3 you list. And if you don't need the new additions to iPhone 16, the iPhone 15 is still available at $100 off (and the 14 at $200 off).

I’m upgrading from normal iPhone 13 to iPhone 16 pro max , it’s better than the 15 pro max in a few ways like you said so what’s wrong with upgrading to the 16 from a iPhone 13 or lower
