Could you tell me please which are the most interesting train lines to travel and the most interesting stations (mainly railway junctions) to visit? Is it allowed to take videos and photos of the trains (I do not want to have problems with the police or segurity guards?

Is the 5D49 prime mover (that powers the 2TE116) a 2 stroke? I always thought it was a 4 stroke.

Incredible you got to see such gems of diesel locomotives! 2TEM10s and TE116s are my favorites as well! The Old rumble of the M62s is pure and sweet music!
