Just a thing...hinduism is not a "religion" according the judeo christian definition. In india we used to say that there is as many god as there is souls. You can't compare religion because you are not seeking for the same things.

Judeo christian will debate a lot about what is the "truth" and what is god's plan for human since god creat human on his image. But hindu seek to trancsend body condition, to higher their soul. Gods made every single creature and one of them was the human species. There is no such thing as ultimate truth that gods would gave us. But you can seek the meaning and the value of life by rituals and meditations.

Depending of where you are in india, people will have a different answers on who is the ultimate being or the "creator" : some will say brahman, some vishnu, shiva, murugan, or some will even say that there's no ultimate being an brahma is the primordial essence that creat gods.
