The best move for individuals is to learn to use Linux and ditch Windows for good.
Ответить30 bucks??? It would be a shame if someone recomended people to upgrade to windows 10 ltsc that has support and updates till 2032... trully a shame...
ОтветитьHow the hell do companies justify throwing 50$ per month per user out of the window for Office 365? This seems so ludicrous.
ОтветитьBS in Spanish (Argentine edition): Cualquiera.
A more literal one would be "Basura", but in this case "Cualquiera" fits better.
Switched to mac no thank you Microsoft
ОтветитьSince we are all sharing Win11 stories: When I use Window 11s built-in unzipping tool on a large archive the explorer freezes and I have to forcibly restart it. So I HAVE to use 7zip or WinRar, but these are forever buried 3 layers down in the new and dumbed down context menu. This has been solved problem for decades, but Windows sure found a way...
ОтветитьBullshit in Czech language: “Hovadina”, or literally translated as “Býčí hovno”
ОтветитьWindows 11 is the worst thing about my Framework laptop. (Writing this from the Mac I went crawling back to...)
ОтветитьThe best way to deal with the end of W10 is to switch to Linux instead of REPLACING A PERFECTLY GOOD COMPUTER
Ответитьlaughs in cmd.exe
ОтветитьJust use Linux 🤦
ОтветитьWindows is bad
ОтветитьMicrosoft really wants all that telemetry data and scraping user images
ОтветитьESU from MS is 30$ for Consumers and it is going to be available only one year. Business customers will have to pay 61/122/244$ and can extend support for 3 years. If you join year 2 only, you'll have to pay year one on top. Thank you Mirosoft !!
ОтветитьAlready dual booting with linux, microsoft is giving more and more reasong to switch
ОтветитьI hate linux even more than windows.
ОтветитьHonestly, unless you need windows only software just get Linux and abandon that mess that is Windows. If your PC can run windows 10 it will run Linux like a charm.
ОтветитьI hate windows.
ОтветитьTo be frank, given windows 10 is almost 10 years old, it is unlikely any critical safety bugs haven't been found by now. You should be perfectly safe using it without spending £30 a year. And if a very critical bug did appear, it would be a PR disaster for microsoft not to patch it for free.
Ответить"cylindrical objects" riiiiiight 👀
ОтветитьOh heck yeah the AI minecraft.
The things disappearing is. Well. A problem yes. But it's amazing for people like me who play bad games anyway. Ever heard of the genre kusoge?
So yea. A fever dream is a good word. I want to play a fever dream. For a couple of hours and then probably not tough it again. But that couple of weird weird hours is going to be wonderful.
The script is very well written, dynamic. Love it
ОтветитьIs Micro$oft going to keep it at $30 per year for those 3 years or are they going to ramp the price up as the years continue? If they keep it at $30 per year, I'm game. Windows 10 for basically another 4 years for $90?
ОтветитьMy parents have PCs from ~2015. These PCs are more than good enough for anything they need to do, and will need to do, for the rest of their lives (both are about to retire). The PC market has changed - upgrades no longer bring obvious benefits to consumers.
Looks like the plan now is to put them on Linux. All they are doing is browsing the web and reading e-mail anyways so it's probably a good thing both for security and for being able to keep using their current machines. I recommend "normal people" to buy mac if they need a new machine as Microsofts security culture is broken and won't be fixed for many years even if they tried. Microsoft is unable to not fuck up.
It's just that there is no reason to downgrade to win 11
For the win7 switch at least it made sense to get the new directX performance boost
But every time I have had to use win11 to do anything it's either just okay/similar to win10 at best or mega annoying at most.
So no upgrades, need to learn a new UI and downgrades. Why downgrade to win11??? Actually
Look - Apple just don’t expect you to turn off your Mac. It just goes to sleep and that is fine …
ОтветитьLinux for the rescue!
ОтветитьTime to pirate this
ОтветитьSwitch to Windows 11? Laughs in Mint
ОтветитьAI is so advanced it can generate schizophrenia!
ОтветитьGet Linux.
ОтветитьMicrosoft became the biggest Linux advertiser. we're truly in the weirdest timeline!
ОтветитьJust hack my pc... honestly...
ОтветитьThat solidifies my decision to wipe Windows 10 off my dual boot PC.
ОтветитьBS = Kuhmist
Ответитьaaaand thats why I use linux. never going to pay a dime for my OS like some dumb shmuck.
ОтветитьNo thanks Microsoft, I'm enjoying my Linux machine.
Ответитьbut don’t love yourself too much. remember it’s November
ОтветитьEnjoy paying to use your computer. Watching windows becoming a less viable operating system every update is absolutely hilarious. Thank goodness I am not dependent on it nor am I dependent on macOS :).
ОтветитьBullshit = Oksedritt directly translated in Norwegian. But we don't say that, we either say bullshit or "pisspreik" which directly translates to "Pisstalk" so it's some sort of bodily waste of some species anyway :P
Ответить30 bucks per year is what I pay for a single domain
ОтветитьAn OEM LTSC license is like 20 dollars, and that works until 2029. Just saying.
ОтветитьAs a professional Hacker, Thank you from the bottom of my heart Microsoft.
I cant wait till 2025 and everyones PC suddenlygets lit up on Shodan with x amount of vulnerabilities.
You the real MVP Bill...
I'm not gonna say it underneath every video, but I enjoy the TechLinked humor sooo much! This is by far my favorite tech news channel!
ОтветитьI'm not throwing six PCs in landfill.
