Grabbed my 06 EVO IX with 3 miles on it in Rahway NJ. Fast forward to now, sitting at 68k non molested. Had no idea in the future it would be considered somewhat a unicorn. My teen kids think it’s wild that “dads” same car was featured in the fast and furious series. lol I gotta say the car always puts a smile on my face when driven. Stay safe peeps 🙏🏼

i know a guy in north ga who has a shop right off a mountain, and he's a retired rally driver who has done a lot of work to my car. Great guy, amazing mechanic, but he got 8 evo rs's from mitsubishi for testing in the 2000s, said he didnt like how the handled offroad, it was a little too unwieldy. but on pavement he said its glued to the ground and goes wherever the steering wheel points, he only has one white one left that hes been building since he got it. bout 450hp, built motor, trans, custom diffs, body kit, titanium exhaust and manifold, the whole 9. these cars are truly a sight to behold when built right

i have never been a huge fan of Mitsubishi, but I have to agree, that is a beautifully built car. me being a long time honda guy, dream of building the equivenat of that build in a FWD..... but now maybe reconsidering the FWD part

4G63 Power! I owned a Evo IX SE with a fully built drivetrain & motor it’ll push you back in your seat.. this RS model is a much lighter chassis no sunroof just perfect street/track/rally ready. overall very fun to drive
