I didn’t know you could “winter” veggies, that’s so cool! I don’t have garden space, as I’m in an apartment, but I love learning about gardening so that when I do get a place with outdoor space I can start a garden of my own. In the meantime I live vicariously through vids like yours lol
ОтветитьThat’s good to know. I’m gonna attempt my first garden this year and I’m gonna plant cosmic purple carrots. So all the gardening tips are welcome!
ОтветитьLol you can always tell who doesn't live somewhere with really hard winters. I'm leaving carrots in the ground in Minnesota means they are solidly in the ground until spring and once thought they turn to mush
ОтветитьПлов — решение всех проблем
ОтветитьPlease know that this doesn't work in cold zones ever. They will rot.
ОтветитьOh gosh. I'm glad you said the thing about the tops dying. I'm totally the type to forgot where I planted my carrots.
ОтветитьDoing my first 6a winter garden! I planted parsnips and turnips at the end of Sept. Have a little tent for them to camp in. 🤞
ОтветитьWell thank you!! This old 65 year old just learned something new!!
ОтветитьDefinitely doing carrots this coming spring!
