Kenyan here. This sounds like a global problem than Italian or European problem. It is like there are some dark forces benefitting from trafficking of people in the name of immigration. Who is making money from the movement of people? How are governments complicit in this? Before Trump, I watched so many videos of thousands of people moving into the US and the authorities were just watching. In Kenya, the President has even gone to border towns - Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda and South Sudan, and declared that people will be given documentation even without the usual background checks. Is this the New World Order? Thousands of Ethiopians, Somalis, Burundians and possibly other nationalists are trafficked into and through Kenya. It is sad.

I'm in Italy now and I can tell you the migrant situation is unsustainable. It is just not possible to have so many people not contributing to the society. To top it off, most do not want to assimilate.

Italy is changing the law so that people with an Italian great-grandparent can no longer obtain Italian citizenship, while granting papers to people who emigrate from other countries. Italy has been a country that forces its Italian citizens to emigrate to other countries due to lack of opportunities, since the 1800s. At the very least, it should allow people with Italian great-grandparents to obtain their citizenship once they return. We are not responsible for all the corruption and lack of opportunities that Italy has suffered.
