The expectations of women today are higher than ever. It is no wonder they are disappointed and miserable. The entire concept of modern marriage offers none of what it is supposed to do. “Till death till us part?” Regular sex? A supportive, loving partner? A good mother to her children? I have yet to find one person who can offer a good argument that I get something from marriage that I am not getting by staying single. But if I do get married the risk that I take on by getting married does not counter balance the positive things I receive in return. Marriage may have been a good idea when women needed a man, but we have created a society where women have no need for a man for their survival.

Marriage is a drag, but the repercussions of divorce are what almost destroyed me. Now I'm single, have a high paying and great career, travel the world, have a great relationship with my kids. I strongly recommend men put themselves and their aspirations first. If a woman comes along and wants to hang out, cool, but only date and be willing to kick her to the curb at the first red flag.
