I like the 2 meat skewers in the tube idea. 👍🏻
ОтветитьDefinitely beats the heck out of the little camp stove I made out a Campbell's tomato juice can. Well, we're having plenty of cold days this year to warm up with stoves and hot coffee and food.
ОтветитьGreat to see you posting again! The stove looks like a good value, I'll keep it in mind. I finally got my H & B Hawks, got the Large Camp Hawk and Boy's Throwing Hawk - outstanding equipment once I reprofiled the bevels and honed them up. They're way more effective than they look like they should be based on size. I ordered them based on your Camp Hawk video so, thanks for that!
ОтветитьGreat preview my friend. I am patiently awaiting mine. Takes so long to get to Canada
ОтветитьYou’re the second person I’ve seen recently demonstrate that stove. I also have one of those small bush grills that I use, and you’re right, it comes in handy. I also have the Opinel #12 saw, that little saw is a beast.
ОтветитьZEUKI ... this is an absolutely phenomenal overview!! I hope you truly understand how much I respect and honestly appreciate your thoughts and opinions. I will actually be adopting your grill plate usage idea as a quick and easy burn plate. My friend, you have always been such an incredible support and I cannot begin to thank you for all that you have done! Just amazing 🙏
Ответитьvery good video
I also make videos in nature with a permanent camp
I'm a big fan of Mac's Simple Theory Gear products and I too have both stoves, the new XL is really good for bigger cooking tasks, but as you said, it will burn charcoal or pellets and is good as a warming fire vs making an open fire and having to be sure it's out before breaking camp or heading out for the days hunt. This gets hotter and is quick to extinguish safely. Good review by the way, my first time at your site and I'll be sure to return.
ОтветитьVery enjoyable video. Me personally will be sticking with my bushbox XL.God Bess👍 🇬🇧
ОтветитьJust ordered my xl great video just subcribed awso.e big brother. Follow mw on instagram i also have content about great gear that i own.
ОтветитьThanks for showing us, very good explanation. Take care.
ОтветитьHello zieke enjoy watching your videos who sells that tea kettle you have thanks.
ОтветитьI love my XL!! It's a great addition to my pack.
ОтветитьThanks so much for pointing out that little square grill top. When I bought the XL stove, I made sure to get that as well, because of your recommendation. The ring that is supposed to go on the top hasn't worked well for me because it's hard to put it on while the fire is going. Finally got it on and noticed that the bent up tabs on the ring didn't provide a good match with the bottom of the Stanley pot. The answer was to forget the ring and just put on the square grill top. The corners stick out, so my fingers aren't in the fire, and the pot sits on it perfectly. I cook big sausages on it by just cutting them in half and they are perfect! This thing is so sturdy that I can put cast iron cookware on it. I use it as a second burner. Tonight, I filled it with charcoal briquettes and put a cast iron flat griddle on it, to warm up tortillas. At the same time, I had flames coming out of my Solo Stove (Campfire size), with a giant, cast-iron wok on it, filled with meat and onions. As soon as I had my requisite 6 tortillas toasted and in the styrofoam heat-keeper, I used the Simple Theory XL to make coffee with the Stanley French Press, while the meat was finishing up on the Solo Stove. I love my life!
ОтветитьThanks one the best overviews of this stove I like the heavier weight it’s not as app to warp out of shape an it will support a heavy pot really like your video
ОтветитьDoes anyone have a simple theory gear stove for sale or have one they do not need anymore?
ОтветитьHello. What anorak you wearing? Awesome stoves as well!! Thanks
