Mesa Boogie rectifier recording preamp and quad preamp

What do you think of the Rectifier recording preamp overall? I just picked up a Studio Preamp and got a 50/50 poweramp on the way. Always wanted a rectifier and was wondering about the recording preamp. I been reading up for awhile now and seems people are saying it is hard to dial in. So far I dig the studio preamp.
