I would hate to lose all of the progress that you already have. The question is how long will it take for the mods to get updated. Regardless of any of that I really enjoy watching you play these games and if you had to restart I wouldn't be mad.

Continue on to caravan town, because that is what I am excited about. There are still new things, like bee hives, etc.. that were added, but zip lines and new islands look cool too.

Just put pillars everywhere. This game is grinds, so restarting would be a pain both for you and viewers

hmmm... considering every other series when there would be a new update, you would start a new season. If it would be too much of a hassle to put pillars everywhere then don't do it but once mods are supported you should make like a final maiden voyage with the modded ship.

I can honestly go either way . . I loved the game for what it was, and the mods did help keep the gameplay . . afloat, if you will . . So maybe continue with chapter 2 until mod support is fixed. Again either way im watching this series

Start over fresh, like you usually do with huge new updates. That and you said it yourself if you try to change up your current raft set-up you'll just screw things up anyway. Either way you run it, though, I'll still watch it. Just saying for your nerves sake, just start anew.

Fresh Start ONLY if you can control yourself and build a boat no larger than 5 wide and 10 long, say. ha ha ha--we all know THAT will never happen. But THIS boat, even placing the pillars, as you say, you won't be able to steer and anchor, and all the other modded QoL stuff getting lost would be beyond painful. So you are kinda screwed either way. Think that tips it to fresh start...

It's kinda sad seeing John's viewer count drop without scrap mechanic survival :c

Hi @j0hnbane, I have to agree with previously stated - it would be sad to have you lose all the progress. IMHO you are better off with keeping what you have, since you are already established, even with some infrastructure losses. I also think that it's a good idea to modify your setup so it would be easier to manage - which, again, is easier when you have some progress made. That being said, you do you - I'm sure that you will find the most comfortable option for you, and the mods will get updated before long.

fresh start see whats what in chapter 2, and use the boaty mac big boat save to highlight any new mods that come along.
