On December 30 of 2020, I released my first full-length project titled Golden Boy. The project took me through a series of trials and tribulations to make, but on the last day of the year I was able to pull it together and release it. The release is titled Golden Boy because I feel like, in terms of the culture, the genre, and my city: I truly am The Chosen One. The Golden Boy. So this project is basically a soundtrack to that statement, blending the mix of self-confidence and self-doubt that comes with it. Over these 15 songs, I want listeners to be able to walk away with the belief that they will be The Chosen One in whichever area they pursue, no matter the odds.

I go by the name of Jag Gatz and I'm a Rap and Hip-Hop artist of Indian descent, born and raised in the city of Las Vegas. My influences range from all across the genre, stretching from trap to conscious music. I do my best to mix the old-school style with the modern sound. My music is centered around my complex lyricism and commanding flow, but I also like to show my range on more hype, turnt-up club anthems. From my wordplay to my rhyme schemes, I am a student of the game to the fullest, and I work to only get better with time. My personal five biggest inspirations are Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and JAY-Z. I have been putting out music since 2018, and I hope I can continue rapping for many years to come.
