Fisher Island ferry vessel collision impact video

Obviously, no one was actually steering/driving the boat!

Why such great speed???? Those ferries are lite up like Christmas trees. How did the captain of the pleasure boat miss seeing the ferry.

Amazing watching the boat go up through the north channel. It had back lights on but couldn't see any front lights.

Alcohol was at the wheel 🤔🇺🇸

There is another vid up with marine radio traffic as well, the ferry pilot delayed calling for help for almost 10 minutes, and then it was to the ferry base

This is one reason for Port Security Boats when Cruise Ships are arriving, departing and at dock

The recreational vessel showed no sign of deviation from its course and it was obvious that they had a clear view of the two ferries passing each other. Throttle open wide, straight line... something fowl at play here.

Something isn't right. Either no one was driving that other boat, or that was intentional.
