I have been waiting for another video...
My mom is a Doctor and she is always telling me stories of her experiences, so it is refreshing to hear them talking about what inspired them to help others , I love it... Thanks future Doctors! Thanks Dr. Hope!
Thank you for these videos! Really enjoying your channel, keep it up :))
Ответитьmy brother is a doctor in the army
ОтветитьI love how much this humanised doctors. As a nursing student I find even student doctors intimidating, its nice to know that while the level of education is different, we're all still nervous wrecks hoping not to make mistakes!
ОтветитьOh my gosh! More content please! Love ur video so much!!!
ОтветитьOh btw, the short hair, really cute! Omg!
ОтветитьPsychiatry for me😊
Ответитьthis is a great video. I'll be in my final year next year, and honestly I'm so anxious and I really have no idea what it'll be like. If you can make a video about advice or even telling us your experience on the first year of being a "doctor" it'll be amazing.
ОтветитьWe complain about and worry about the youth of today and then I see something like this and feel a huge amount of "pride" . Pride is in commas because I have nothing here to be proud about but someone should be proud - that's for sure.
ОтветитьKeep it up
ОтветитьI'm from Ecuador in South America. .. and I have the the same perspective .. I realy enjoin this video
ОтветитьFinally the new video came out💙 Thankyou dr.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this video and this channel! It's great to finally get UK content. It was nice to see a graduate entry student in your video, as I'm applying this September for 2019 entry GEM it's inspiring to see others excelling.
ОтветитьDo you edit these yourself? The editing is really good. Great channel!
ОтветитьAmazing channel!
ОтветитьWait I'm confused , you finished 6 years of studying medicine I college and now your a junior doctor, but for how long and is there any other schooling required after this?
ОтветитьThis was really enjoyable.
ОтветитьI might be studying at a high school integrated with medicine next year and I'm so exited yet so scared of it. So for some reasone I have been binging on your videos and this video gave me a lot of hope and motivation so keep doing what you're doing!
ОтветитьI'm a final year student facing my exiting exams in April. Love the channel and the videos
ОтветитьI'm a first year medical student in the US and I'm super glad I found your channel. It's awesome getting the perspective of a practicing physician and I hope you'll keep making videos!
ОтветитьEEEK. It's Finals WEEK!
ОтветитьThis is such a relatable video, thanks so much for making it! I'm in the same position, final year, and the thoughts of these UK students are the same as mine, despite being in different countries. It's so reassuring to know that we all feel the same way on opposite sides of the world and that my anxieties are completely normal, and that other people look forward to the same things as me!
ОтветитьYou look so thin is this video. :O
ОтветитьThat took me back to my final year as a veterinary student not too long ago. I don't think the experiences are that different from human medicine.
ОтветитьSo as an American I'm fairly ignorant of the education system for physicians in the United Kingdom. You graduate high school and immediately begin a 6-year medical school, then do a few years of residency (depending on the specialty)?
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this video! I'm a med student as well (not in the UK, in Denmark), and although I'm only just getting started I can definitely relate to parts of what these older students are saying. I'm so happy I found your channel!
ОтветитьJust discovered your channel. It's a great balance between interesting and informative!
ОтветитьAnyone with advice? I am a final year college student who wants to go into the ambulance service before going into medicine so that I gain both medical and also life experience. Does anyone advice or their opinion on whether this is the best way to do this (I did not achieve my sciences so want to do them as a night class until I get my A levels), I have asked multiple doctors I know personally but I feel that they may only agree to my plan because they know me. Please help!!!
ОтветитьI've been working in a hospital as part of the clean up crew to get a look at the world inside the hospital. I thought I wanted to become a doctor and now I'm sure. These videos have me excited to start learning more about medecine.
ОтветитьI know it's a stupid question but what is a teaching fellow, are you from the teaching staff of the university??
ОтветитьAs a first year med student with exams next week (eeekkkk!) this was really helpful. Love your channel and unique ideas :)
ОтветитьI already have a stethoscope, so I can just skip med school, right? Or do I need a lab coat too? This is important, I need to know before my practice opens next week!
ОтветитьI'm a medical student and I never realized how common my worries and concerns are...
it's nice to see that I'm not alone.
The ending is awesome!
ОтветитьI can relate to Sophia so much. A very interesting video indeed. 👍
ОтветитьMan that Indian dude was cute as hell
ОтветитьI've said this before on your page, but teaching and doctoring have a similar mindset. All of those questions are completely valid to new teachers.
Ответитьgreat video!
Ответитьah i cant wait for this to be meeeeee
ОтветитьLove the haircut 😉
ОтветитьLove this video! I can totally relate because I had just recently finished my last year of preclinical studies and will soon enter my clinical rotations in January.. SO excited and nervous at the same time! As always, thanks for the video dr Hope! Would be really great if you could share some tips on how to survive clinical rotations lollll <3
ОтветитьI'm a 3rd year medical student.
ОтветитьI'm only 12 but I want to become a child's cancer nurse
Ответить"You want us to say you" 😂😂
A really sweet video! I'm gonna be a final year medical student next year and this video was perfect for the time being :D
Question in the UK do you go to Medical School straight after High School ?
ОтветитьI won't lie, I was thinking of medicine , but to be honest my main motivation besides mental challenges was purely ££££££! I ruled medicine out due to the extra years study, lower salary (until you rise up ranks or specialise - is nowhere near as well paid as friends in US doing medicine) and stress. So I decided on Maths/Finance at a top 10 UK university followed by a Masters in Real Estate Finance at Cambridge (If I never got into my main profession then plan was to do an MBA as well from an Ivy league in US - Wharton/Harvard etc then apply for Hedge Funds, Private Equity on Wall Street or London). Luckily got my dream position working for a Private Equity real estate fund and do property development in spare time. If you want to make £150-200k+, while also having good academic stimulation, there are far more easier ways. You have to really want to be a doctor.
ОтветитьHello fellow Amit
Ответитьthe knowledge combined in that room...
