Create a Custom Sort List

If you're familiar with the sorting options in Excel, the standard way is to sort alphabetically ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A). For most intents and purposes this works fine, but what if you had a stakeholder that wanted you to sort is some unique way? For example they wanted you to sort a country list not in alphabetical order but in the order of the land mass (Sq. Km). Sure you could add the land mass in as a separate column and then sort by that column, but this would look weird in your data if it included sales data and the land mass column was only there as a helper column to sort. This is where a custom sort list would come in handy. I'll show two ways on how you can create this custom sort list.
