Terraria 1.4 | Item Dupe Glitch!

i did this for my fish potion after i finish all my fish quests f fishing

why is this not working for me? I literally did everything, yet it still won't work.

Does it not work with not stackable items? I tried it worked the first time and i tried it with equipables and it failed. Any help?

Completely unrelated, but is there anyway that I can get 1.4 content on my world that I made just before the update came out? Or perhaps a way for me to get the exact same seed but with the content and booms and stuff (new world same seed)? I really need to know as I’m trying to do a ranged Playthrough and want to experience the stuff like the Oasis biome and new chest items on my Playthrough

This works on xbox! I did it before and it worked, it might be on ps4 but I have never seen a ps4 irl before. The only thing that is changed is that instead of alt-f4 you choice the "quit" button on the screen where you can change profiles and change games.

i have beaten terraria like 10 times now and beaten the game with mods like 20 times with and without friend just doing the most moronic shit imaginable, i tried master mode to see how it is, the first time i lost all my money (50 gold ;-; )i was like "fuck, need to dupe" and now i have 20 pets and a broken game, thank you

This actually helped my Mastermode (for the worthy) gameplay I duped Red Potions

or you can just put items in chest, multiplayer or not, as soon as you exit chest (esc), you alt f4.

oh wow..... it worked for me.... but the opposite one :( .... all my items gone..... both my items in my inventory and the items in the chest are gone 100%...... well ill just gonna stick to my original dup

i tried it and it deleted all the items i tried to dupe.

This game's bugs are comparable to a hydra. When you fix one bug, 2 more show up. The only way to fix all the bugs is to nuke the game.

This is not a glitch. it's called hard dupe.
