That's what I love about river cruises. You literally just walk down the gangway and you're in the town. No being tendered in; don't even need a shuttle or bus.

When I try to go to go to your link to Tui Cruises, my access is denied! 😮 I am American, so maybe that is why. I have always wanted to do a River Cruise, but it's always been too expensive. My husband and I have been on a number of Ocean Cruises. Do you have a way we can access Tui's web page?

Did you see any Christmas Markets during this cruise? What month did you go?

The thing with the German Christmas markets is, they are only in big cities, > ~ 200 000 residents, over ~ 4 weeks. In smaller cities they are only sporadic, e.g. on a weekend. The problem of TUI was that many jetties had been flooded, I think. So overall you were lucky that the journey took place. Your video is great. 👍

Excessive mirrors and transparent bathroom walls seems to be a European thing. I once had a bathroom shower with a floor to ceiling mirror. Nobody needs to experience that. And I’ve had hotel rooms with the glass wall thing.

This is partly, terribly nosy and partially legitimately financial. You occasionally ID brother, parents, or a parent with you on cruises. However, you always say "We." Are you sharing or are you paying solo rates. Does Captain Hudson qualify as "we?"

In the U.S., "homely" is not only unattractive, but it is usually used used to describe a person's looks. Such as, "I was too homely to have a boyfriend in high school."
What we usually say about a place that looks or feels like home, is "homey," or "home-like" or "cozy."

Are there any river cruises fun for children? I only see adults mostly

So only the BIDGET CRUISERS were impacted by the water levels?

Here in the states, I cannot find a website to look at TUI cruises...any help would be greatly appreciated

Not only do I remember your previous review but I remembered that your parents were on that trip!

I have to disagree on the "not getting motion sick on rivers" part. At least for me. LOL I can get motionsick on almost anything, no matter how subtle the movement. Including my own darn bed if I'm playing certain video games.

The (lack of) accessibility thing bothers me a lot. It's 2024, for crying out loud. Can't we be done with ableism and the exclusion of disabled folks already? If 200-year-old theatres can retrofit mini lifts (which are purely the area of a wheelchair itself) to bring disabled patrons between levels that are only served by stairs, then there's no real reason why it can't happen on boats, either. Then again, when even major train companies, bus services and airlines are ALSO openly ableist, I suppose it's not too much of a surprise.

Swimming pools and jacuzzi’s on European river cruises are totally unnecessary. Instead they should expand the spas and /or exercise rooms.

Did the boat not have ice? I noticed you were drinking Coke without ice. Did you tell them you are not a heathen and that it is a sin to serve room temperature Coke or any drink for that matter.
