Cost of living continues to skyrocket and the middle class has been decimated. Those who are on fixed-income are hurt the most. The homeless and addicted roam our streets, increased crime has deemed our communities and neighborhoods unsafe and our children are left with no path forward because we have moved away from educational excellence in our schools. These issues have contributed to California's downward spiral. These are not partisan issues. Regardless of your party affiliation, these issues impact everyone. Without common sense legislation, these issues will continue to grow. From the day I took office, I have been committed to bringing accountable, transparent government and being a visible representative in my district. San Diego needs a principled representative with experience that reflects the voices of our communities.
