ОтветитьYes, elves do exist. Both Light and Dark Elves.
ОтветитьFun fact about Iceland. Like 90% of western countries it is complicit in the genocide of Palestinians
ОтветитьShh! the elves might hear you.
ОтветитьWhat happened to "a makadonals"?😢
ОтветитьThe elves constantly invade my cupboards aggressively rearranging my shit when i never even touched it. those little fuckers are real! i swear imma have to go down to my local rock and have nice little "chat" with their chief.
ОтветитьI don't believe in elves. They're all liars and tricksters. Never believe an elf.
ОтветитьElves? I thought they were Trolls?
ОтветитьAsk a newfoundlander if they believe in faries , they're real !
ОтветитьI looked up the midges. Apparently their bites are even worse than mosquitoes, which is just great.

ОтветитьNematocera is a suborder within which includes mosquitoes. So you have mosquitoes on Iceland. Period.
ОтветитьElves are as real in Iceland as leprechauns are in Ireland.
ОтветитьI love how Iceland, probably more so than any other Western country, still holds onto their native faith
ОтветитьAnother "fun fact" I read about Iceland is that with a new partner you usually have sex first before dating. Honestly with that and the no-mosquitos thing I was ready to book a flight...

ОтветитьAs an Irish person, can confirm the fae is real, never tell them your name
ОтветитьYes Elves are real.
ОтветитьA couple of decades back they rerouted the highway near where I live in Sweden. When they released the information about where the new highway were to be built som folk loreists released a statement saying you cant't build there, that's troll lands. They build the highway anyway, and sure enough mysterious accidents started to happen.
Ответитьyou killed me when you stoped on Belive
ОтветитьElves as in Tolkien? 🤔
Or Nisser?
Aren’t they midges like we have in Scotland?
ОтветитьSomeone revved up their motorcycle outside my house the exact moment the colours shifted to b&w on the elves bit, causing there to be a low humming in my room as you said "they're real."
I will now be checking my home for elves, just to be sure.
Judging by Wikipedia, your flies are nothing compared to mosquitos. In the north, the biting midges can get pretty rowdy, but only briefly each year. And they don't each need to drink a big meal of your blood to breed. And they don't carry any serious diseases. So that's a pretty big plus. Also, they don't really come to the Reykjavik area, where most of you live.
ОтветитьLmao the Will Ferrell Eurovision film all makes sense now
ОтветитьIcelandic men need wives? Asking for...a friend 😄
ОтветитьÓlafur hvad seir dú eg get ekki skrifad á íslensku ilút af eg er enskd lyklabord en no ok
ОтветитьAlso during the financial crash Iceland (the country) ended up owning Iceland, the frozen foods retailer and yes there is a branch of Iceland in Iceland.
ОтветитьIceland gave the world Lazy Town
ОтветитьI once read an anthropological interview in a book about Ireland:
Q: Do you believe in fairies?
A: As a matter of fact, I don't. But they're there anyway.
"most icelanders believe in elves" is a very skewed perspective. More accurately, most people outside of Iceland don't believe in elves.
ОтветитьLiterally the next video was blumineck
ОтветитьFun fact : nematocera are called cousins in french
Ответитьelves? ha! how silly! now, fairies tho...
ОтветитьIm from iceland
