Couldn't keep the combo when I respawned but just setup a keyboard macro to spam R and hold LMB so I didn't even have to touch it

This still works, PS4 version played on PS5. It takes a very long while so don't worry if you don't pop the trophy fast.

Still works PS5 2024! Hard to know if it was working since it didn't show progress. I went for 5 kills per click and started using a massage pistol on the X button since my thumb was hurting 😂

It still works in 2024 - just got it on PlayStation.
Thanks for the clear written instructions under the video mate. This was the only missing trophy I had - still, it took me over 2h of mashing X (with a couple of crashes when I was too fast - PS4 just could not handle my speed ;) ).
A tip for future masochists out there - pause the came every couple of minutes so the game can save your progress.

Work on ps5 ?

doesn't seem to work on Xbox. I can't do the fast respawn thing, everytime i die i respawn outsider the building just like if i rewinded. Still a good level to farm on, 1% every 7-8 minute

If you're a bit lost like I was and if you cannot get this to work, the timing is extremely strict. If you're mashing the restart button and you can still shoot or pickup your weapon, it will not work. It will not count toward you kill count. I did some experimenting and that was the case everytime. So make sure when you have died, before you start farming, make sure you absolutely cannot pickup or shoot your weapon. Look around, spam pickup/shoot. If you cannot do anything besides press restart, only then it will work. Can confirm it still works as of 15/06/24.

I was feeling like it was taking too long, so I decided to check if it really was or just my impression. Then, I checked how many deaths I had, and it was 35,674. I spent about 5 minutes doing that, and it went up to 35,693. So, for me, it didn’t work out that well. I’ll try doing it manually, even if it might take longer.
