I remember one time I was editing a video on an editor called Vllo and it just decided to crash on me, but that's not the bad thing... the bad thing was the fact that it deleted some of the funny edits and cuts I made in the video that took me a long time to do!

These have always been audio files. As a video editor myself, he shouldve double clicked on the file in vegas, there’s a preview of the entire clip where he couldve dragged the video to his “library” and then he couldve dragged it onto the timeline.
