Thanks Clara - if/when our oven gives up the ghost its an air fryer as a replacement for sure. My wifes a vegiterian and I'm a confirmed meat eater so a dual basket would be ideal. Our stumbling block is space! Our 1950's kitchen is too small and lacks worktop space ... oh well maybe soon eh😃😃
ОтветитьIsn't the Ninja saying with "both" drawers runing it is 2470w but Cosori are only saying that one drawer is 1750w. That is why you're getting half wattage on your meter with the Ninja. Good video though. BTW i'm still using my Ninja to make toast 🙂
ОтветитьPerhaps electricity works differently around you, but I can tell you that in Canada, no small appliance can be sold with such a high wattage, simply because the absolute maximum you can suck out of a standard 15 Amp 120 Volt circuit is a theoretical 1875W... and no one builds machines that would deliberately push a circuit breaker close to jumping. So I can tell you that my Ninja 10 qt (the one with the larger baskets compared to the 8 qt) uses up several hundred watts less than even 1875W (even 1700 is a fire hazard in older houses with outdated wiring)... and I guess if the current was 240V it would be a different story (I suspect this is the explanation, because I hear that Europe has a lot of places with 240V running on every outlet for even the smallest tasks). But only large appliances use 240V here. So I guess my point is this (if you're still reading): if you are going to be talking about Watts, you should make absolutely sure that whoever watches your video knows upfront whether or not your devices specs and ratings are applicable to the country they live in. Sadly, this video will make very little sense to a North American (or Japanese) audience.
ОтветитьThank you for making a video specifically for my question. We have since decided on the Cosori. At the moment, we're still a bit disappointed that everything takes quite a long time (sometimes twice as long as the Air Fryer indication on the food packaging). Let's see if we'll still be happy with it.
ОтветитьCurious how the Ninja uses less power?
ОтветитьIs true that the cosori display is becoming full of scratches extremely fast?
ОтветитьHI, CAN THE NINJA STEAM?
ОтветитьI love my new Cosori Dual Basket, and I love how much cheaper is was to buy than the Ninja would have been. Another Cosori bonus is that you can see whats happening in each draw.
Thank you for your awesome videos, you helped me to decide what to buy.
Hey , i m in big dilemma which air fryer to buy. I m thinking of Ninja af400 or Cosori dual basket 8.5l Which one will you recomend me and why? We are family of 4 ( 2+2 ) with 2 amall kids and we never had an air fryer before. I will be very happy if you help me to chose
Best Regards!
I am interested in the ninja AF451 with a digital probe. Do you have a video on it? Also, do you know what the temperature range is, lowest and highest? I can't find that on the product information on Amazon.
ОтветитьNinja any day 100%
ОтветитьBit late to the party but! Had the Instant brand, Ninja and now the Cosori and the Cosori is definitely the best so far, The Instant was very good, the Ninja tended to overcook stuff outside but leave inside under temp, so had to turn the temp down and cook longer for the inside, so actually cost more to run than both the others in the end, the Cosori is just as quick, cost least to run, and so far has cooked everything perfectly, it's so easy to use I really can't fault it in any way,
Ответитьthe ninjas double basket is so narrow!! is there a double basket that is a little wider???
ОтветитьIdk ill keep using the COSORI but i feel like it lacks power im so used to my old fryer maybe single basket airfryers are just more powerful than duals my COSORI takes maybe an extra 5-10 mins to cook things even with max temp do you think ninja will have more power? debating if I should return it to get the ninja instead since it looks like it cook things faster.
ОтветитьThis video is misleading. You’re comparing the wattage of a single basket in the Cosori with that of both baskets in the Ninja. OK in terms of cooking time this is not especially important while in terms of cost to run it may also not be accurate. Just looking at peak watt usage tells us nothing as the heating elements must turn off when the selected temperature is reached so what is needed is the total power usage for the duration of the cooking time. The Cosori has a more powerful element so heats up quicker. If it cooks the food through better this is likely due to the thermostat regulating the heat better (turning the element on and off more frequently), fan efficiency and/or air circulation. Overall I find your videos helpful but this one is disappointing.
