You all see Djokovic and Murray; all I see is Gill is a Toroline guy! Been using their string for 4 years myself!
ОтветитьAverage players make great coach. Good players apart from current Alcarez coach ever rarely make great coach.
Ответить2 lunatics together. What a combination.
ОтветитьOne Sir Andy Murray.
ОтветитьHe should just go back to Marian Vaidja(sp)! He always seemed to be the best one for Novak. I don't think it will work, they are both very opinionated and besides what's Murray going to teach him how to do? Bottle matches!?
ОтветитьNoooo Waaaaay!!!
ОтветитьThis is the stupidest thing Ive heard in my life A player that had the same style of play only less as good will teach Djokovic what???? Murray was a ball pusher like Djokovic is, only infinitely more boring And if Djokovic at the later stages of his career needed to improve his aggressive tennis to achieve what he has, Murray couldnt improve if his life depended on it! This is a joke yes?
ОтветитьSounds like Novak means business for 2025?
ОтветитьDjokovics bag carrier when he isnt injured..
So ..
Excited 2025🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьThis is going to be great watching these two as fans
ОтветитьDjokurray😂😅
ОтветитьCool thing to see, but I can't see them together long after AO, possibly Wimbledon
ОтветитьVery good analysis
ОтветитьThis is Great💫🌏⚡️🚀🙌🏻Unreal👀
ОтветитьHe is known for yelling at his box. All his previous coaches got yelled at during the match. What makes you think Andy can be different?
ОтветитьThink outside of the box, that's how Novak thinks, not surprised. Andy knows the game, if can add extra 1% to Novaks performance it would be great.
ОтветитьI love this pairing. Andy brings energy to the box and knows Novaks game. Andy would fight for every match even late in his career. I think Novak can benefit from this positive energy coming from his box. I think Novak has won everything so he needs a person who can bring out his fighting spirit.
ОтветитьGil this is a joke needs 2 GS champs to beat Sinner Carlos cant give him the legs power joke joke
ОтветитьGil Andy owns one of very best hotels in the uk so not sure andys into junk food clown
ОтветитьYour a troll you make no sense
ОтветитьRocky and Apollo. Love it.
ОтветитьDoes someone have data on coach success rate within a 3~ window or on debut tournament?
Because I feel Murray could be good, but it could take time to develop that coach to player chemistry.
All excellent points, Gill. Retiring from any career is not easy, but more complicated with the game of tennis, from what we see. Roger did it fast because his knees were giving out, it's taking Rafa quite a while, Stan is still playing, as is Monfils and Gasquet. For these Big Two, it's very hard. They want to be part of everything it means to be on the tour. It's been their life since they were kids. Let's go and keep having some fun, they're thinking. They certainly don't need the money, but how else to fill the next 30 or so years? IMO, it won't last more than a year because of their huge personalities. And it may be just to play at the Slams.
I thought the timing of the announcement was interesting too. Right when the last tennis of the year is being played at the Davis Cup.
Brooo this is insane
ОтветитьMurray demonstrated pathological-like difficulties in stopping playing tennis ( AEB: him verbalizing his difficulties to stop playing in a few interviews). I interpret this news as an opportunity that Djokovic offered to Murray to stay on the tennis tour. Djokovic doesn’t need/ care to have a leading coach; he could stay without one, but I agree with your reading, that Novak might utilize Murray’s leftover hunger for competition to boost his motivation to stay in the competition.
ОтветитьBeyond.
ОтветитьHaha what a farce
ОтветитьAs Geronimo Stilton would say...Holy cheese!!!
That's so Novak...and I love it :)
this is basically Novak's way of saying he wants to hang out with Murray
ОтветитьNadal should now coach Alcaraz and Federer should coach Sinner that'd be crazy and considering Sinner is northern italian he is almost Swiss-german imo it even makes sense
ОтветитьSo if Novak wins any slam with Andy in his corner does those slams get added to Andy’s slam tally 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe clown show continues.
Where's Pepe?
This has to be a joke, no?
ОтветитьLoce your work, Gill
ОтветитьI don't see what insight Andy Murray could possibly offer to Djokovic. Good coaches are players that maximized their talent - not the players who threw away their talent because they were mental basket cases.
ОтветитьFederer to coach Alcaraz in 2025, to take him to the next level.
ОтветитьCould this move been fuelled by Gel man getting banned for at least 6 months and 24 can become 26? No, Alcaraz is there...
ОтветитьMarjan Vajda is the Greatest tennis coach of all time.
It's just crazy how the tennis media just glosses over him.
My reaction was exactly same, holy cow! This is awesome!!
ОтветитьThat is blockbuster!
ОтветитьI have only one wish for Novak in 2025, to won third Monte Carlo title.
ОтветитьMurray-Djokovic is one of my favourite rivalries. Since their styles were similar, the rallies were absolutely brutal. 2012 aus open semifinal was one of the best matches ever, even better than the final in my opinion.
ОтветитьGreat commentary as usual Gill!
I want to know the backstory to the coaching arrangement: who approached who? Did Andy ask Novak for a coaching gig or the other way around.
Sir Andy Murray and Mr Novak Djokovic teammed, such a awesome news for Tennis World!
Two longlife coleagues and friends who knows each other from early childhood! Two amazing analysts and tacticians in the game!
Cannot wait 2025. seasaon to Start and AO! 😊❤
I'm very happy and optimistic with this news! 😊
I believe it's more for cameraderie than anything.
ОтветитьNovak need Motivation!
That's IT! 😊❤
It's obvious Djokovic wants that second Olympic Gold medal
ОтветитьAmazing insights. Would be great if you could cover some stats and insights on why jannik is at the top now.
ОтветитьTo win AO he should hire Sinner
Ответить
