Just look at this horrible hdr effect, constantly going darker and back, like looking at the world through a 2002 cheap digital camera with 1.5 stops of dynamic range.

Started playing yesterday on PS5, I’ve played a bit of arma 3 on my pc but never got super into it, hated reforger for the 1st hour, then started figuring out the controls and how firefights work and now im addicted 😂

I feel validated in my nerd level having picked up on these tactics on my own for many of the major points. Really well presented. As much as I try to be on the bleeding edge attacking, I recognize when that's not the optimal thing to do for the team and change gears to supply the front line even if risky. I wish more people had that mindset, thankfully many do. After 1000's of hours in Squad, Reforger is next level satisfying in the strategic plays that can be made, as well as the impact even one individual player supplying a cap can have on the outcome of the overall round.

Doing supply runs will help you immensely when it comes to pvp as well because you can predict where enemy supplies will be running through and which capture points are most crowded

low fps combined with +999 ping after 5 min (internet connection is good) on modded servers is just a pass

Being a genuine veteran I loose what marbles that still remain when your with other players and a shooting match starts and someone over comms goes “he is hiding over there”. Where the F is over there… “the AI is hiding in a bush”. Meanwhile I am then respawning after being one shotted and KIA.

Give concise clear directions and we all may get to go home for tea and cakes.

“Enemy in bushes left side of the house with red roof and car outside near the crossroads,” may just keep players around you in the fight.

“Enemy ahead”. Try this ..
“Enemy ahead 2 o’clock from our front 50 metres”

Hope this tip helps keeping folks in the fight and brings our weapons to bear quicker. Yes I know its a game I respawn a lot and really really enjoy being main base team killed😮😂😂😂😂

I love this game bro, being new myself I roll with the experienced players and just mow everything down with my m60. There is nothing more satisfying than single handedly forcing a convoy of vehicles to a halt in front of you while your teammates flank the sides.

my biggest problem is trying to figureout how to download mods for servers. ( on xbox )

YOU SHOULDVE GAVE TIPS/ADVISE FOR VANILLA SERVERS AND NOT MODDED ONES SINCE ITS MORE LIKELY PPL WILL BE STARTING OFF IN VANILLA SERVERS ESPECIALLY SINCE THERES BEEN A PROBLEM WITH DOWNLOADING THE MODS IN ORDER TO JOIN A MODDED SERVER CUZ I CAN ONLY PLAY VANILLA SINCE THE MODS WONT DOWNLOAD AND ONLY A COUPLE WILL AND IT JUST KEEPS SAYING ERROR ALSO I LOOKED ALL OVER FOR FIXES BUT DOESNT SEEM LIKE ANY WORK ACCORDING TO REDDIT AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

This game kicks ass. Only complaint is that i dont have a high end pc to play it on. When you have a competent team, they are the best randoms in all of gaming

I started playing yesterday because I needed a new game instead of call of duty all the time it becomes draining, I’m going to say it’s the most fun and laughs I’ve had in a while. Gamechat is a must and they do brilliant RP servers which I didn’t know about 😂🔥

Took me and a buddy an hour to figure out how to be effective cavalry scouts. And took me bout 15min to learn how to repair helis I'm a great pilot n just enjoy transporting things so even the helis around the map are a game changer when 10min into a new game I'm already doing heli drops

I pick up the enemy guns a lot. And i have been getting killed because i cant tell if the guy im aiming at is good or bad and then he shoots me

Me - kills more teammates than enemies accidentally

Hopped into my first match tonight :) (after waiting 40 minutes in que for a server with good ping) and for me, the hardest part is telling the difference between friendly and enemy forces. Finding myself hesitating before shooting every enemy. I did manage to get somewhere between 5-7 kills though and in this game a kill feels so much more rewarding then in a game like CoD

This games tutorial could be alot better

I find theres no team coms and loads of 1 man squads, maybe im on the wrong servers but I struggle to get into it. I've played years of Arma 3 and Squad.

The guy that got killed in the first clip is definitely me (just kidding I started two days ago)

I've got 1000+ hours at squad does that help in arma both milsim games

Yeah i played more than six hours and esp at night you can’t even see what’s shooting you. Spawn run miles because there is no transportation around then get shot by a random guy sitting in a bush somewhere. Rinse repeat
