You're Wrong. Minecraft Is Not Dying

Minecraft isn't dying. Just what you said. But it also comes down to the fact that the features Mojang has ever added to the game are just ICONIC. They remain fun forever, no matter how many times you play the game. Think about things like Encanted Apples, Ender Pearls, Crossbows, Elytras. Not only that, Minecraft is that one and only place that provides the player with WHATEVER they want to do, and this gets really exciting especially in a multiplayer world. You can form alliances, betray your friends, bomb your foe's base (still iconic). SO anyone who's watching this video thinking Minecraft is bad and boring might want to consider this fact: It's a sandbox game. Sure, while Fortnite may be FUN, it will not be remembered like Minecraft is. It's like comparing Beethoven to Taylor Swift. We think Taylor Swift is better, but in reality, only Beethoven remains ICONIC.

Not that anyone will read this, so it's more as a note-to-self.
Minecraft has never been more fun to me, because I've started writing down ideas for projects that will take so long, I don't know if ill EVER finish them. For example:
right now i'm working on a huge magical forest with a beautiful custom lush cave beneath it. and it's turning out great!
i also have YEARS worth of projects ideas to work on, IF i were to play for a couple of hours every day.
you gotta find that will to keep playing, that goal in mind to work towards something, maybe even using it as motivation to go do something useful IRL, like training, so you can feel you deserve a break and get to keep knitting away at something you want to do.

dont quit your worlds. find goals to complete.

From the looks of servers.. How could you say it is not dying? The definition if not dying is if people still played mineplex. Mineplex shut down. Hypixel will be next, once thats done its over.

You can decide the opinions of others. If you don’t like Minecraft, then that’s you. But you can’t make everyone accept that decision because that is the truth.

I was going through a rough patch last summer and my mate said he was starting a realms world and asked if I fancied joining. Never played it before so I gave it a go. In my mid 30s and a decade late to this 🤣 but I love it. To me, it's my go to cozy game where I just vibe while building and farming and flattening land 😅 it's all about your play style. One person in our realms just effs off and does his own thing, fights the ender dragon and wither and I'm fine with that. I have a village to protect!

Im playing from beta 1.2. so it's around 14 years now. currently playing on private server, vanila for seveal years. And here is a tip, how to not loose intreset. I'm not "that creative person, which creates amazing buildings", im the boring one. But i have lot of long-term projects. Like building gigantic map arts. or digging out the whole end island. or build a high-performance auto-furance, even with indication. Or shulker farm, with more then 1.5k shells/hour. Or the Iron golem farm, with 40k inron/hour output (can't wait for autocrafter) or..... Basically, im dooing boring things, but maximazeing them. more then 15kk blocks were mined, and i'm not planning to stop. If you don't wanna lose interest: Do a long-term projects. Don't be afraid of their huginess and difficulty. That's why it is long-term. That's the point

For me minecraft itself isn't dying however my computer memory space is so playing it can be not as nice an experience thanks to the game freezing & the occasional crash. So in that sense the game sometimes feels like its dying to me but hopefully it should only be temporary once I can get round to sorting out my pc once & for all. I have mountains of plans for my world atm but there is just some difficulty in executing them...

Is it fine if i steal this idea but say it inspired me then shout you out

I can't agree more, I love Minecraft, it is where you dump all your imagination so you can create something you like, it is the only game that i think doesn't deserve to die

Everyone seems to complain about minecraft's current state and how great it was years ago, but they always conveniently forget that you can play the older versions. Hell, that's what I do. I play on ps4, so I have to deal with bedrock, so I just boot up the older 4j studios edition and forget about bedrock. So what if it doesn't have the fancy new blocks or new mobs. That's exactly what I'm looking for. And they let you make that decision
