Great video! I did not know for the gridfinity plugin in fusion, I'm definitely going to use it.
ОтветитьI’m on the same journey. Any chance you can share your file for the Manfrotto pixi mini tripod Gridfinity bin?
ОтветитьGreat video! I've been wanting to undertake this same process with all of my gear.
ОтветитьThe OCD in me desperatly wants this. It's literally salivating while watching this video.
Ответитьreally great video!
ОтветитьYou can directly import and scale images in fusion with the canvas tool, then you can draw your outline in a sketch :)
ОтветитьI don't know why I skimmed through this video, because I would rather have chaos in a drawer than a drawer with containers for only one specific instrument. What if I want to put something else in there? I have to print a new container every time? Hell no, perfectionism level insanity
ОтветитьWhere is the stl for the Supreme sticker box, lol.
ОтветитьI just got into this stuff. Thanks for the tips dude! Just a random thing to look into in the base plates. You can stack the plates on one print. I read some people have stacked up to 9 of those bad boys. Thanks for the tips dude 🙏🏼
ОтветитьFusion has an option to calibrate an image to automatically resize it after you input a known measurement on the image during the calibration process. Only thing I hate is that you cannot remove the blue highlight on the image during calibration.
ОтветитьThat's very nice!
ОтветитьSo cool! On average how much time do you think you saved vs the investment of designing everything? Considering doing this for myself, but I don't have a bambu only an ender 3
ОтветитьOkay, that stencil test print is a great idea.
ОтветитьI found a parametric OpenSCAD model for the base plates and bins called "Gridfinity Extended OpenSCAD Model ", and I use Inkscape to create the vector drawings for the cutouts.
I can also use FreeCAD sometimes, but OpenSCAD doesn't export STEP files so it can be a bit of a pain to make them work together well, so I usually just download the correct size bins.
So there are some alternatives for others to try; I personally like open source tools.
this was lovely to watch. I'm really inspired to try it myself! do you do anything to make your filament food safe for the grids that hold your silverware / cups?
ОтветитьSo you really confused me with the 3d printer video since I’m use to your coffee videos 🤗 So are you doing a laser engraving video next since everyone seems to be doing 3d printing and laser engraving now.😯
ОтветитьAmazing Video. Thank you very much <3
ОтветитьFantastic job, man!
Ответитьthis video fell in front of a production lover in turkey and you inspired him, I love you man.
ОтветитьWhat is that second monitor you have below your primary one?
ОтветитьWhy dont you print your grids in a stack with supports between them? That way you can print multiple grids at a time
ОтветитьHey thanks so much, I was finally able to print my first proper custom design by following this video. Appreciate it! :)
ОтветитьDo you have the files for the NotNeutral Vero glass organizer? I can't find them in the links.
ОтветитьGreat video. Can you send a link for your tool chest.
ОтветитьGreat vid, thanks.
ОтветитьCool video! I've been thinking about getting a 3D printer for a while and will probably do it when I have the money and free time to spend learning this cool new skill.
ОтветитьAnother great way to get the scale of an object quickly is to use a cutting mat, like the one your keyboard is on.
Place the object on that and take the pic of it, don't need to measure after the fact when you bring it in :)
Also - you can import pictures straight into Fusion and then trace over it in a sketch! Awesome vid
This is cool, but as a total beginner, this could have been a 45min tutorial for me lol
ОтветитьGreat vid showcasing your process. Thanks for the work. I'm in the process of organizing my Ikea Alex drawers to the do the same. Thanks for the pointers.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьLaser cutting!!! That’s cheating! Yes I’m jealous!!
ОтветитьYou Can také wood squares by puzzle😅😂❤😊
ОтветитьRemember that Pla is not food safe and most other filaments aren’t so make sure that if you are using it in food spaces like the kitchen that it’s not really coming in contact with food or you use food safe filament even then it’s not recommended
ОтветитьRipped off from Scott Yu Jan?
ОтветитьCan't express how helpful this video was! Will definitely be using this as a guide to build my own storage system 🙌
ОтветитьOk I need to pick this back up... there goes my weekend! Great video btw :d
ОтветитьWould love for you to upload the bin for the mini Manfrotto tripod!
ОтветитьWhat tool box do you use? love how it looks
ОтветитьHey! Brand new to 3D printing, but am hoping to purchase a printer specifically for this task as i have been wating one for awhile now and this seems like the perfect first project.. One thing i noticed about your prints is that they look incredibly smooth and clean compared to a lot of other prints ive seen people do. Particularly compared to the examples in Zacks video. Im looking to purchase the Creality K1C printer, and was wondering if you have any idea if im likely to be able to yield similar results to yours with that machine? I know that isnt the machine you are using in this, but hoping you may have some insight. Thanks!
ОтветитьAwesome video! The stencil idea is a game changer for me lol
Thank you so much
Probably the best video of explaining how to design and print the shadowboxes!! Thank you!
ОтветитьI've seen a bunch of videos that are similar, but I love how you explain two different methods, plus the stencil idea is great. Awesome vid
ОтветитьBend over backwards.
Ответитьi dont think i can do this lol
ОтветитьLove it. Thank mate!
ОтветитьThis is great. Definitely adding this to my todo list
