Chimney Rock Debris Field Hike and Road Status after Hurricane Helene

I hike to the top of Chimney Rock's North side in order to investigate the origin of the largest debris field at this location.

The road status can be seen from the drone footage in the video. Tremendous work has been done to connect parts of 74 in between Chimney Rock/Lake Lure and Bat Cave.
