Im probably alone in this, but I actually really enjoyed tanking spoils of pandaria. for some reason it was a fight I always looked forward to
Ответитьi will agree with 10-9-8-5-2 but all others fight were right for me.
ОтветитьFaction Champion guide
-Have a rogue spec in throwing specialization (gives fan of knives an interrupt)
-Group up so all the mobs are in range
-Have the rogue spam fan of knives as the rest of the raid focuses on melee mobs, since the casters are now completely neutralized.
This was nerfed in 3.2.2, but by then, everyone out-geared the fight
Galakras is worse than Spoils?
ОтветитьI found N'Zoth the Corrupter to be an amazing fight, but I wish they didn't get lazy when they designed the mythic phase. It's like they stopped trying to design mythic phases after Legion.
ОтветитьSome of the bosses on this don't belong at all Ryg and Syl were bangers people who complain about them are just bad and probably never killed them. Maly and Gala were both cool and took brain cells to kill not just zug zug.
ОтветитьI got AOTC on Heroic Sylvannas, The raid leaders legit wanted to go insane
ОтветитьArchimonde in hyjal with that god damn blasting people in the air shit. The one boss my guild died to the most while never actually killing it.
ОтветитьThanks pal. Just got off all the meds that fight had me put on.
rather sit through another pandemic than grind mythic stone legion during active progression again 🤮
I didn't mind faction champions when it was current. We had a quite good 10-man guild.
ОтветитьSince when was Rygelon and Sylvanas hated encounters?
ОтветитьRygeleon really tested every raider to know their stuff but i would not say i hated that boss n Sylvanas fight was a long 1 but it also was the end boss so i get why they made it long
ОтветитьWhat made Galakras so terrible is that fire blast ability. You first dealt with many waves of adds where you killed them and had to stare into the distance for 15-20 seconds before the next wave finally arrived. Because of that people lost focus. But as soon Galakras landed you only had a few seconds to group up in the correct position for the fire blast that comes straight after. The person targeted had to move back so the ball would go through the whole raid before hitting the player, doing less damage for each person going through. If you didn't, the blast would be strong enough to kill the majority of your raid in one shot. And there was always that person sleeping who got targeted and didn't move back, so the raid wiped instantly. I've been through way too many attempts of doing waves of adds for 7-8 minutes, just to wipe within 5 seconds of Galakras landing. That was by far the worst part of it.
ОтветитьI’ve seen Spine of Deathwing so many times in these videos… I can’t help but wonder if they should’ve ended the raid with something like Stormblood’s Royal Menagerie. Maybe then Spine wouldn’t have been so disliked. I dunno. I’m not a WoW player.
ОтветитьA cool idea would be the top 10 most powerful members of each class, maybe one list for each class?
ОтветитьBro this dude really has NO idea what hes talking about
ОтветитьThings they could have done to fix every one of these encounters like a week after the playerbase decided they were a problem (progression is done, people are bored):
10. Make the adds damage the gate as well as the cannons, so you CAN actually speed up the boss.
9. Throw NPCs on one side that duplicate/accelerate the progression of BOTH sides if you are killing the monsters faster tan a hidden timer.
8. Dragons should have scaled to gear, and given Malygos is a 1 boss raid, they should've made his badges always the most current ones, giving people a reason to actually do him; basically in ICC gear he should have just blown up.
7. I can't believe they even made this boss, playtested it, and thought this should go in the game. But even more Diabolical that they actually thought hey, let's also make Resilience a Stat that is good in PvE encounter.
6. I actually liked this boss, problem was that they over-tuned it on even Normal difficulty. It felt liek a Heroic encounter thrust into our faces in one of the otherwise best raids ever.
5. This is probably the worst opening boss of all time. They needed to reduce the eggs from like 30 to 10, and/or make killing X adds pop an egg. You needed to be able to speed up this encounter, and they shoudl have learned to not do this considering it was in Classic, and every boss like it since is inexcusable.
4. I actually don't remember this boss being annoying in Pandaria, but in Remix this encounter was an absolutely horrible time. They literally could have just added a "WE only need to take down 1 tower, we're in a hurry" button to any of the NPCs.
3. I don't even understand how this boss works let alone trying to figure out how or why it had to take this long: Just nerf his health pool. There's no reason this guy couldn't be blasted down in later weeks.
2. This fight was AWESOME but it got really annoying when one guy misplaced would cause him to roll, wiping you. They needed to just make this mechanic WAY, WAY for forgiving. I'm way more upset about the final fight than this penultimate one. Spine of Deathwing got bad, but Madness of Deathwing was ALWAYS atrocious.
1. The worst end fight followed by the worst lore buildup followed by the worst expansion. This one is actually irredeemable. You think people fed up with Sylvanas would be given something like an amazing fight with her, instead you spend like 10 minutes running along a chain and then it feels like they gave up and her fight ends at 55%. It's bad when even the gaming company that MAKES the bosses decided okay, they're going to have enough riiiiiight HERE and the boss ends. Then the worst cinematic in the game plays where actually it was never her along along and a soft mind control. Give me an absolute vacation from this nonsense.
Eonar not being on this list is wild
ОтветитьThese seem less hated and more tedious. Wow's most slow and slightly irritating isn't as catchy a title, tho. I liked Dark animus in mop remix. The strat was stand behind the spiky poles and blast everything that comes at us, including the boss. made it much easier. Also, dragon soul is so much faster to farm now that they've sped it up.
ОтветитьWhere is the siege of ulduar? That one is most annoying of all!
ОтветитьMalkorok will always be a personal one for me. I hated the miasma Mechanic.
ОтветитьI disagree with Spoils, everyone in our raid group loved it. Even after going back to farm it, it wasnt that much pain in the ass if you know what to do.
ОтветитьShoutout to star augur from nighthold with the constellation mechanic, and sisters of the moon from tomb of sargeras with the floor mechanic.
Ответитьnah dark animus was a skill check for guilds if they couldn't just dps the big one down on reclear.
if that's a reason to hate it... fine, but it's debatable if it should be on the list or not.
rygelon "it demands perfect execution every pull" god forbid... why is tomb kil'jaedan not on this list?
I disagree with Rygelon. One of the better bosses of that raid.
ОтветитьI got my first ever Hall of Fame on Sylvanas. 200 pulls with the kill timer around 15 minutes was quite exhausting, but the feeling of accomplishment was amazing. We also later farmed her some 30 times in S2 and Fated.
I'd much rather fight Sylvanas again than Painsmith or Fatescribe from the same raid.
Yes
ОтветитьI loved faction champions
ОтветитьDark animus was good
ОтветитьI barely even play anymore but I’ll always watch a Hiru upload 😂 9/10 times it’s a nice blast from the past too, or trauma depending on this particular video 😭
ОтветитьI would say these Top 10 most hated Raid Bosses mostly stronk biased with personal opinion.
ОтветитьTHERE IS NOT HARDEST BOSS like Spine Deathwing or Sylvanas when in reality is boring with longest mechanist.
ОтветитьHeroic Sylvanus literally made me quit WoW for years, I didn't come back until the second to last patch of Dragon Flight
ОтветитьWhy no C'thun? That boss was a guild killer
ОтветитьI remember when i was doing trial of the crusader and one of the party members said that putting your pvp gear on boost you 😂 i haven't laughed so much.
ОтветитьAs a DPS I have never hated a fight more than Mythic Za'qul in the eternal palace raid. Having to full on STOP everyone from playing to wait for abilities and timers to line up or else you would just wipe is the boss design of all time. Oh and as a pet class player, the fact that madness realm players can KILL MY PET and thus kill my damage annoys me to no end.
ОтветитьNGL, Spine of Deathwing was a really fun, interesting challenge at the time. Honestly, one of the best encounters in the game.
Ответитьomg i hated so many of these lol malygos was so bad, spoils of pandaria was SOOOO garbage, especially towards the end especially in LFR you'd go too fast 100% of the time & hellfire was miserable too
ОтветитьIs seige of orgrimmar just not liked much?
ОтветитьReally bad list lol.
ОтветитьI liked spoils. BWL fight would have been my #1. Guild killer.
ОтветитьDid you forget painsmith was a thing?
ОтветитьLeast fun i ever had was mythraxx mythic as melee before they hotfixed it.
Literally just designed to be as melee unfriendly as possible by a team of scientists.
first place: the raid lead.
ОтветитьCounter point with spine you can stand on a tether count to 9 then kill the add and rinse repeat
ОтветитьHonestly I wish CC and interrupts were more common in modern fights. It's more fun than circles and made you a better player
ОтветитьI’m not seeing Kil’Jaeden from Tomb of Sargeras here. That guy was the guild breaker of Legion.
ОтветитьNah remove Rygelon and put Stone Legion Generals right up at the top. I would drop Sylvanas too, that fights only detriment was the middle phase dragging out the fight too long. Meanwhile you have add fights like SotFO first boss (forgot the name) that absolutely suck balls outside of mythic, and the Mythic fight isnt that much more interesting
ОтветитьMythic Archimonde sssssssucked due to them beams and no markings to show beams between players... was the first boss I HAD to use a WA to manage beams.
ОтветитьHey! Get the fuck off Sylvanas! Just beacuse HC version was dogshit doesnt mean any real players hated the fight, Mythic version was one of the best Bosses I had a pleasure of killing...granted "Mythic hidden phase" of Boss ending on 45% instead of 50% was stiupid, but that's only real downside
Ps. On Mythic the 2nd phase is EXACLY half as long, while being double the difficulty (on top of Mythic changes) as you always had 2 bridges going in different directions at once, and had to split raid in 2
