I'm from Datia, and the Dhumavati temple is not allowed for married ladies and girls of marriageable age. The Datia kshetra contains several mahavidya temples and houses one of the biggest gurus of India (Lesser known, unfortunately). Guruji did Dhumavati Sadhna during the 1962 war with China. He was even recognised by Indira Gandhi for his contribution. His physical body unfortunately, could not take it.
