Paradise lost does have a pilot script in the works the development on the show is still going strong but yes I do agree we need to see her in the DCU hopefully we can soon since it was announced that they might go big with announcements at cinemacon

Another great video. I know Smallville and Gotham were very popular but I'm tired of hero shows without the hero. I agree Gal Godot was an amazing Wonder Woman. If you look at an infographic of the trinity's adaptions it's sad how little they've done with Wonder Woman over the decades. Also love the use of The Boys cinematic universe picture.

It will be great to see an animated series for WW but idk lol WB always messes up WW.

Gunn once debunked a tweet saying “Wonder Woman won’t be appearing in the first 3 years of the dcu” now unless things have changed than I’m gonna assume she’s appearing at the end of paradise lost. Personally what I think they should do with trinity is this.
Each core justice league member(the big 5 Batman Superman Wonder Woman flash green lantern) gets their own type of project that’s very unique to each other.

Superman solo movie

Batman a duo Batman and Robin movie

Wonder Woman gets a trinity movie where the movie is a trinity movie of Batman Superman Wonder Woman but Wonder Woman is the main character with the villain being a Wonder Woman villain like ares for example.

Flash gets an animated movie where Barry is flash and wally is kid flash. In the end Barry retires and wally becomes the flash and when we eventually get flash live action debut it’s in a justice league movie with Wally as the flash

Green lantern gets his tv show with hal and John and than John joins the league in the first JL movie

It's crazy because characters like Harley Quinn got an animated series before WW. IMO, WW getting a video game and especially an animated series is more important than live action. The early 2000s was the perfect time for a WW animated show. Having tertiary characters get projects before securing the complete trinity is wild lol.
Also, Captain Marvel got lucky because it was sandwiched between Infinity War and Endgame. The movie made money, but it was okay.

[This is just a rumour, so take it with a grain of salt. I think James Gunn cancelled The Monolith Wonder Woman game. James Gunn has said in the past that he wants an interconnected universe in movies, TV shows, animated movies, series, and ( VIDEO GAMES ), so it's possible that James Gunn cancelled it because it wasn't connected to his universe. Anyway, take what I have just said with a grain of salt because I could be wrong, but then again, it kinda makes sense once you start thinking about it.]

I was looking forward to the game. The general audience needed this, instead of Injustice and WW84. Time to endure people saying she has no rogues.

She has plenty of villains. Ares and his children, Deimos, Eris and Phobos. Circe, Silver Swan, Cheetah, Medusa, Veronica Cale, Doctor Psycho, Doctor Poison, Doctor Cyber, Giganta, Paula von Gunther and she has some goofier ones like Blue Snowman, Crimson Centipede or Angle Man too. Maxwell Lord could be used. New ones like The Sovereign.

Just because they've never been adapted properly doesn't mean they don't exist. This game could've been a chance for Wonder Woman's villains to get more established in the pop culture, it's not like people were always familiar with Batman's rogues gallery. DC just beat people over the head with Batman stuff until it became iconic. Superman got that to a lesser extent and Wonder Woman didn't get much exposure outside of team up stories.

As a Wonder Woman fan, I'm used to this. Batman and Superman have had how many stand-alone TV shows and movies? Wonder Woman has had how many stand-alone TV shows and movies? Back in the 80s and 90s was the time Wonder Woman should have gotten her first movie. Superman had movies. Batman had movies. Supergirl had a movie. Catwoman had a movie. Elektra had a movie. Yes, many of these were terrible. But why was Wonder Woman never given a movie? As a result, not many people know much about her or her rogues gallery. Now they're doing a stand-alone Jessica Cruz Green Lantern cartoon? Like I said, I'm used to this.

Huge WW devotee here. As another poster said, “ We’re used to this”, WW not getting her due. I loved both Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot’s portrayals, they both were wholeheartedly devoted to the character and displayed not only her strength but also the heart of who she is. We NEED that these days. Characters not just fighting ‘bad guys’, but also changing and challenging their worlds. It was a silly mess, but WW84 did succeed in portraying that part of WW core (in a we tried to make a movie about the year 1984 by shooting a movie like it was shot in 1984 way). 84 had the sin most superhero movies make, in that they didn’t respect the original origins. The portrayal of Max Lord was cartoonish. And throwing Cheetah’s whole story out of the window were huge mistakes. All I want, as a fan, is to see what I’ve read, what has been established, in live action form. It’s really not that complicated. Superman The Movie is a perfect example.

Yeah, because of this, I'm not going to buy the Arkum asylum remake. Not only it's an remake of a game that doesn't deserve a remake, and the people who worked on the original are no longer working for wb, but because wb games have mishandled the DC license for almost a decade and only GOOD game that came out of them is a VR batman game that is exclusive to meta. 🤦🤦🤦

Wondy fan here. Creature Commandos was full of distractingly awful music so pronounced I felt like the whole show was contrived to see if someone could make me sit through a music playlist that offensive to the intellect, and I could not. I watched at least three of them before deciding, no, this series has made the intentional choice to lack all taste or style. I hope other projects vary in tone. I liked Suicide Squad 2, it was irreverent without being overtly tactless, same for Peacemaker.

Prequels are boring. I have hundreds of Wonder Woman comics. I collect Wonder Woman dolls. Themyscira without Diana on it interests me for zero minutes. I will try a show based on that, I am just saying, it has the same chance of landing with me as an Emu and Doug ad, some are fun. Making a total coin toss out of the Wonder Woman license with a devoted fan is a careless afterthought of a move. Some exec thinks they can rip off GOT because they have a fantasy location, this is getting made explicitly because prequels are trendy.

There is and has always been an active suppression of this character. Those wise enough to see things as they are call it sexism. Wonder Woman was designed to combat such thinking. I think we may always need her as much as we ever did.

DC and Warner Bros hate, don’t care about, and constantly disrespect Wonder Woman. They would sell the character if it didn’t think it would hurt their public image, which they do everyday anyway by continuing to treat her this awful. They don’t deserve and she deserves better.
