Is there a way to incorporate mint flavor? Or perhaps vanilla.. if you would use 1 vanilla stick and add the insides of it in the mixture and grind it?

Just a heads up; try just fine ground tobacco (collect your cigarette sheddings and mix it with some finely chopped pipe tobacco) it's FAR more pleasant than this, and will carry you for 3-5 hours instead of smoking. I tried this recipe and it's really harsh, every time I end up with both nostrils congesting, eyes watering, and an urge to sneeze like crazy. Before adding in the chemicals listed, just the tobacco on it's own, was pleasant and had no ill effects and was a great substitute for smoking. I stupidly added this to my whole batch because the math worked out. So now I have years of pain ahead of me. :'( I hope I figure a way to tone down the burn, I might actually try and age it, or just tank the loss and idk, add it to the pipe tobacco.

i`m in australia, cant buy tabbacco leaf legally, can you use cigars to make it? if so, what brand, make etc?

If one wanted a menthol eucalyptus snuff how would you go about that? A few drops of essential oil while grinding perhaps? I solved my sodium carbonate and salt in a bit of water, then make a paste with the tobacco and let it air dry. Will this turn the sodium carbonate into baking soda ?

Picked up one of those elliptical grinders and batched some fine alkaline powder from some dark cigars. Surprised how decent of nasal snuff came of it. With luck my rustica crop will make it to harvest and I can finally have some fine snuff again. Nice!

I use to grind bulk Virginia ( pure with no additives) ,but before grind I add some drops of excellent McCallan Single Malt and let remain closed in a jar for 24/48 hours…and not bad result.

I am here again to tell you I followed your recipe with some differences.
Virginia rolling natural tobacco : 60 grs
Cigar ( Canary Islands) : 3 cigars
Soda : 1 coffee spoon
Sea salt: a pinch
Tonka Bean mashed in McCallan single Malt(*Tonka bean powder obteined with a grater)
and…..GOOD LORD !

i stopped using nasal snuff cuz it's pretty dangerous if you used it in public places people will think you're snorting meth, or some illegal drugs

I just finished making a batch made from some homegrown rustica tobacco. it definitely works but I imagined it would be stronger although I've never tried it before, I'm not sure if it's my recipe or if I just expected too much lol. I used everything but the ammonium chloride in the percentages you suggested 🤷🏻‍♂️

New to this and just subscribed. Pray tell- you seem to say that for nasal snuff it is best to use the very fine powder found only in the cap, whereas the majority of grind in the Kaffe is too coarse and is reserved for snus. Is this cause coarse slows down or diminishes nicotine absorbtion by nose? Is there a grinder that will turn whole batch to fine? My current says not to run more the 30 seconds or will overheat. Or maybe I got basic supposition wrong and no real advantage to powdery product. Thanks for Vid

So i just used a Ichiban mad Churchhill cigar with some eucalyptus and it smells exactly like ntsu green

great video! But wouldn't it be better to dissolve the salts in distilled Water and then spray it on the powder? It would make the snuff a little more moist so that you can easily snuff the fine grind.

I use straight tobacco then I add intense mint essence. I use it to just to clear my sinuses cause nothing else works as well, not even medical grade lignocaine works as well and that stuff tastes like shit.
