Ive heard that a perforated acoustic absorber plate (like MDF wood, for example) has even more chance of absorbing noise than a smooth one. Is that true? And if it is, does that mean that if you perforate that piece of paper in the video, does the ball will bounce even less?
Ответитьwhat a nice guy, thanks alot
Ответитьbrilliant
ОтветитьThe problem is that the absorption doesn’t take place at the surface, because porous absorption is only effective at slowing down air particles with a high sound velocity. This is at 1/4 of the wavelength.

ОтветитьI love everything in this video, a well spoken man in a suit, kneeling in his bathroom explaining physics in very simple way, is just perfect. Great job buddy 👍🏻, keep it up.
ОтветитьNice video!!!! Thanks for it!!
ОтветитьThis video is perfect.
