Cellular cam would do me no good. The mountain areas I hunt have virtually no cell signals.

I watching a bunch of reviews trying to find what I need but I'm not really getting the answers I need... Does anyone here know what I should look for if I really just want a wildlife camera for the yard? I just need to know what the gopher tortoise is doing while I'm gone 😭

SPYPOINT micros are nice when they work I’ve gone through 7 micros in the last 3 years now I’ve moved over to stealthcam and I’m never turning back

Not commenting to say anything about a specific brand, just a general comment. If you get a game camera, any game camera, try it out at your home FIRST to fully understand it's operation. These things are harder to configure than a Chinese WIFI in a dark closet. The buttons are tiny and multi-functional, the set-up screens small, the manuals are sometimes written by non-English speakers and, (some of them), have so many obscure, esoteric features/options they will lead you down a rabbit hole of frustration. Recommended; DO NOT STRAP IT TO A TREE IN REMOTE BF EGYPT AND HOPE FOR THE BEST! Pick a spot close to your home, and your indoor desk/laptop computer. Do your best according to the provided manual to configure it to your preferences. Set up the camera somewhere securely and easy to get at for day and night recording. Let it pick you up in day and night recording because, you know what you look like and can judge the selected settings better. Bring it into the comfort of your home and cable it to your computer. Review your findings, make adjustments as needed. Regarding any WIFI options, you're on your own! Cheers!

You should do a video on the top non cellular cameras, I hunt in an area where cell service is really non existent and can’t use the cell cams like I want to even with extended antennas
