In this video, I review the H&K SP5, the civilian version of the legendary MP5. With over 2,000 rounds through my SP5, I’ll break down its pros and cons—from the smooth roller-delayed blowback system to the quirks that hold it back. One of the biggest flaws is the manual of arms—the bolt doesn’t lock back after the last shot, slowing down reloads compared to more modern PCCs. I’ll also dive into how the narrow magwell makes mag changes more challenging and why I had to modify mine.

Despite these flaws, I still love shooting the SP5. There’s something iconic about slapping the charging handle to drop the bolt—it's straight out of the movies! If you’re into iconic firearms or want to know more about this PCC, this video is for you.
