It’s really hard to believe that Punk vs Seth is happening on the debut of Raw on Netflix. And the main reason why it’s hard to believe is because we are getting Roman vs Solo and it probably be the main event. But the main event should go to Punk vs Seth.

Love your shows Simon but I have to hard disagree with your title statement! HHH has shown us over and over that he will sell-out on everything, in everyway possible down to even the ringmat itself. I feel this is majorly overlooked by most reviewers and they always praise him regardless. All this talent on the roster and still all this filler every week ( no affense to talent)? The main stars and champions legit never wrestle and rarely even show up. Most of the show is predictable and you see the angles coming a mile away for most part and they repeat anything that works in a way that is too predictable as well. (milking the bloodline cow dry) HHH is everything I morally stand against when it comes to capitalism and greed. He will sell out the whole locker room for a man that just shows up whenever he feels like it.(Rock) The Rock is not a wrestler anymore but another corporate sell out croney. He is a very fake person and not for the people but himself. Its insane the WWE let one mans EGO dictate their biggest event of the year like this, and yet, he never shows up to wrestle or do promos unless a giant paycheck and spotlight is involved. Why would any of the other wrestlers really try if your going to just hand it to the guy that did not earn it regardless? Oh thats right, because you will even sell out your own staff at the idea of making an extra buck...Gross and I am sorry but this is disgusting to me and I can not stand to watch HHH's weasly ways anymore. He is literally whats wrong with the world in how he behaves professionly and everyone cheers him on still like they are in an idiocracy film is basically how it feels to me. Great wrestling brings with it great money, but great money does not always bring with it great wrestling (Goldberg/Taker in Saudi is one recent example of this that comes to mind or almost ANY match involving celebrities) To me this proves why putting great story telling as the 1st priority over just making the max money is important. It becomes very predictable and when you notice this trend and you can not simply unsee it. The recent Tyson/Paul stunt is a great example of why you do not just do what makes the most money. Yeah hype wise it was great, but performance wise a total let down. How much has it cost both their reputations now? I will never pay to watch either fight again, would you? This is exactly what HHH doing with WWE booking in my opinion! I feel played a fool, especially when their biggest critics do not critique this point enough!!!How does one even believe it ever gets better? Sorry to be negative but I do feel this is the truth!

I think the favor is punk getting roman’s spot in the rumble, keeping roman out of it, and punk goes on to win the rumble. Suddenly you have a program between the two of them and punk swearing its nothing personal just business.

2024 is going to be a tough year to beat. It has probably been the best year in WWE history, at least creative-wise, in my personal opinion, but I also think 2025 could potentially be even better.

WWE has done so much right this year, Yes it's not perfect but losing Vince was the best thing to happen to it. Almost everything that happened tonight builds towards a great start to 2025. Roman vs Solo on RAW 100% confirms the Rock is getting involved. Chelsea Green is about to become the first US women's champion tonight. We continue to see Tiffany's slow babyface turn, and eventually cash in, which I still think is on Charlotte not Nia. Kevin Owen's troll game is on point, with the Stardust shirt. Naomi taking Jade's spot as Bianca's tag partner confirms to Naomi that one of them attacked Jade. Also even without a title, we continue to see that very few can touch LA Knight when it comes to promos. Plus the idea of LA Knight vs Jacob Fatu would be fantastic.

I actually do remember some of the latter shows from the original SNME run. Man I'm old.

There are so many possible combinations at the top of the card for the next 6-8 months it's absolutely mental. Every division on all 3 shows has been slowly but surely growing and now they're finally coming into their own. Triple H's approach can be a bit frustrating at times but the results can't be argued with and he and his team of writers and producers are retraining and reconditioning the audience.
