Old Arbat street - the Russian Montmartre with MosExplore

The Old Arbat Street is a pedestrian street about one kilometer long in the historical centre of Moscow, Russia. Arbat street has existed since at least the 15th century, which makes it one of the oldest surviving streets of the Russian capital. It's the heart of the Arbat District of Moscow, the "Russian Montmartre"

We arrived at the Arbatskaya metro station, one of the beautiful examples of the underground People's Palace, and walked in the direction of the Smolenskaya metro station.
