it looks like NOTHING on the harrier JUST rail IV and Rail II no boosters nothing. WOW. gonna have to try this.

you need to make sure that you are more straffing then moving backwards if not you will go down fast but there is nothing on them just rail cannons

this does not work. they must have changed those ships I can NOT side slip as fast as they can fly. they push to energy weapons range and rip me to pieces :-) even if I turn and burn they catch me

ill have to go back on and check there was another way we were doing it in beta i will see if they nerfed it

thanks. I can take to 17 with no damage just using a harrier and 2 vettes (you can do it with just a single vette but takes so long :-) Would love a no damage way to take larger stuff :-) especially the sector stuff that no one is really messing with yet :-)

please check. does having other things on the ship slow it down? but they mowed me down "fast" ie they appear to be moving a lot faster than in your video (my harriers appear to be moving as fast as yours)

Kixeye has nerfed being able to do what you demonstrate right here

yea, harriers were nerfed bad. So were talons like 3 days after their release. :(

thank you for the reply, but how do you slip in the first place, i try and it never works. i use a laptop

left click and right click. left click commands TURN and THRUST in direction of click. RIGHT CLICK command retain current orientation and simply "thrust" in the direction clicked. SO to side slip (strafe) you would left click AIMING the ships in the direction you want and once they are aimed RIGHT click in the direction you want them to slip. If your using a mac that might be an issue since they tend to not have a second mouse button??
