2024 GWM Tank 500 | Don't hate the player

All of you, You Tube Car Journalists in SA, im yet to hear from you a tangible reason , why Tank 500 price is not an Appropriate Price .Surprice us.

I'll wait for the new Hi4-Z version of Tank 500. It now comes equipped with a decoupled four-wheel-drive system that consists of a 2.0T engine, a front axle motor, and a rear axle motor, forming a dual-motor plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). It features a self-developed 59.05 kWh ternary lithium super large battery pack, with a pure electric range exceeding 200 kilometers under WLTC conditions.

This is the worst car review I have ever watched!

Why when VW was 1 or 2 litres out did they get internationally crucified but this thing is 5ltrs off everyone just goes OK? I’ll rather go find a VW Touareg v8 TDI which will obliterate this in every scenario including ownership over 10 years.

Your review doesn't do this car justice. Other reviews have praised this car as a luxurious but very capable off roader which is competitively priced. Constant skepticism about the Chinese, GWM, the name of the car, the equipment level and even performance.

So the news is out that the smaller Tank 300 is coming with a diesel engine next year (probably their new 2.4 diesel engine). Pleeeeeassse review that one as soon as it launches, that is where the local market demand is.

They should have launched it in diesel first. As diesel make sense for diving long distances. Farmers use to by the old prado, but the new prado is to expensive, GWM should jump on that opening

In a nutshell, this thing is a piece of s&*t. If you buy this you need your head read. The salesperson who sells this dump deserves a promotion, a bonus and a medal. Only 74k (8600000 rand) in Australia for the top of the line Ultra variant. SA is really overpaying in my opinion.
