ОтветитьHey man, I love the content, but I can't really agree with you when you're building 20k-30k kits on the regular, wizard should be good even when building 3k, 5k kits...
ОтветитьWouldn’t building fire mastery be better than surge? Many forget that in addition to anti heal it adds 2 seconds of burn to even zaps, which with .5 scaling is a lot of extra true damage, and it’s 5% bonus for all fire spells. Every zap will do ~10 more true damage plus book ~2.5 damage, not bad for burn

ОтветитьThere are no portals in the new patch. there is like 2 at the entire map, both spawn at very late stages of the game and one spanwns at the last circle. There is no way to get out if a team is at the middle of the cricle already.

Ответитьif you run 3 fire spells in solos, why not use fire mastery instead of mana surge? The fire mastery will buff burn duration and burn damage which will give a lot more flat damage than the 10% mpb you get from mana surge, this would be my guess

ОтветитьLooks like the only way to scale magical damage is +mg dmg or +true, sdf forgot melee and bows don't need to campfire after 10-20 swings/arrows and have much higher base damage or attack speed.

ОтветитьI was considering if its worth even building a single mag power and instead completely rely on true magic? Prio example: true mag > knowledge > movespeed > hp > pdr > mdr?

Ответитьwiz without the bunny hope and those damage scale should have more ms its insane to be so easily overwelmed when any melee rush you and not having any damage to answer, annoying af i remember wizard playtest 3 where you could run naked behind a guy full invis and kill him with 3 pelet of arcane missile in the chest wizard is awfull to play honestly right now

ОтветитьYeah, I wouldnt even mind those nerfs if other classes weren't so disgustingly broken. Windlass ranger smh still dominates HR trios and a good geared warlock takes literally no dmg from anything we do, while mheal druids and clerics easily outheal all dmg we do regardless. In a vacuum wiz dmg output would be decent if you don't count for the high MR classes, healers and magic prots, while the flatted pdr curve just makes me die in my best kits to 1 windlass shot or just W key'd down by warlocks while I can't even fight back. I've almost always grinded DaD a ton, but rn my motivation is close to 0

ОтветитьWizard legit not playable this patch, will probably stop playing. Bhoping gone, Will as a stat basically useless. Bad PVE bad PVP. Haste nerf which i used to get ms to kait meeles. Only thing left is HP stacking to try to damage check with MM which is the most boring playstyle and definetly not the one I signed up when maining wiz. I hate sdf and the game

ОтветитьSo, in a game where stacking PDR and HP is the undisputed way to win fights, they chose to nerf magical damage and buff PDR even more (by both reducing phys damage bonus AND increasing PDR curve).
Truly a developer of unparalleled wisdom.
CNG is my favorite Wizard player but he definitely queued up and died first game with this kit to an Ironwill Barb or Panther Druid which is why we get no gameplay with it😭

Ответитьafter playing this game since the early days, i've decided i'm done. the devs clearly have no coherent vision for balance, and their changes reflect an inability to understand what makes the game enjoyable. updates are often unexplained, reverted within weeks, or feel like knee-jerk reactions rather than data-driven decisions. there's no transparency—no publicized metrics, no clear philosophy behind changes.
as a wizard player, i cannot understand why this class is singled out for constant nerfs. warlock and sorcerer both have infinite casting, yet the wizard—supposedly the primary caster—has to sit down between fights just to function. meanwhile, a sorcerer can just swap to a parry-longsword and keep fighting. the inconsistency is absurd. these balance tweaks have become a nerd trap, distracting from real improvements the game actually needs. the cycle will continue, and i’m not sticking around to see it.
