You haven't played Thousand Sons, BA?
ОтветитьGrats man. Doing Nova 2025?
ОтветитьAre the salamanders +1 to wound with flamers? My Infernus blasters are S5.
Ответитьone thing i would advise changing (ive been running firestorm DA variants for about a year now) is make the 2x3 Eradicators a single stack of 6, and give them a Apothecary Biologis with Forged in Battle. i run them in one of my two redeemers, so can get them around quickly, can jump out and shoot in my opponents turn, and with the Forged in Battle can overwatch a guaranteed lethal hit if i really need to. adds a lot of flexibility to them.
ОтветитьAs a newer player (1Year in), I've realized that 75%+ of winning is player skill. Even though you haven't been into 40k for a while, I think your skills still translate... even if they date back from the heresy era :D
That being said, I also think groupthink is very persuasive in the community. Something is "bad" until it isn't and then everyone thinks it is "good".
Congrats again! I really like your photos & reports that show your strategy, its a nice change from just watching battle reps in the background. I've learned a ton from your videos.
I am off to a teams RTT this weekend one day & then a fun beerhammer event on Sunday! If you haven't played teams, it is a really great version of competitive 40k.
Howdy, I enjoyed this. Thank you!
You mentioned a Salamanders discord? How do I find that?
Never even thought about using van vets in this detachment, very cool. If I were to change one thing it would be adding vulcan with company heros in an impulsor. Would combo great with the van vets getting the wound rerolls for the dev wounds. As well as locking down a mid field objective.
ОтветитьGreat video and excellent work. Looking forward to seeing how it goes against some of the more favored factions in 40k currently.
Going to share this with a mate in our gaming group. He also has been a bloody scourge using Firestorm Sallies (w/o Special Characters). He achieved best in faction at Nova this year.
I will say that none of these units are "middling" per se, rather it is they require a good amount of skill to leverage them properly. These units punch up HARD and they are far faster then folks appreciate in Firestorm.
Props to you man! Always happy to see more Salamander wins!
ОтветитьWow I am watching your swgoh videos sometimes and now I realise you play W40K too as me. Cool stuff.
ОтветитьAlways nice to see Salamanders/Firestorm content. Seems to me though that the list hinges on all those jump pack units. Wouldn't you agree that with a few tweaks here and there the list would perform even better in a different detachment? FAF detachment rule is very nice, dont get me wrong, but at least the other detachment have usable Gems, am I wrong?
ОтветитьGreat video—I really enjoyed the analysis! I've subscribed and am looking forward to being part of your journey. Good luck with the upcoming tournaments. Look forward to hearing about them
