I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for hearing and answering my prayers, thank You, Lord! May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us in sharing Your unconditional love. On another note, trusting the process really does bring great rewards. Working with Melissa Jonas Richard has positively impacted my financial journey, and her advice has helped me grow. If you’re considering a change, don’t hesitate and stay disciplined it could be just the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

Don't wait until the time of warning is over. Like the people that ignored Moses until the waters started rising. Do these things now:

1) Take hold of Yeshua the Messiah as your salvation

2) learn what The Most High considers love according to his word. Learn his laws of how to love him, and how to love others (Leviticus-Deuteronomy)

3) evaluate your life and apologize for the imperfect things you've done that violate his laws to love, and don't do them again. This is the meaning of repent.

4) repeat this process on a regular basis, constantly evaluating yourself. And urge others to do the same.

May The Most High God bless you and keep you, may The Most High make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Most high lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. In the name of Yeshua our Messiah, the Prince of peace. Amen, HalleluYah.

Why they couldn't be creative about the IHT for farmers I don't know. If they were worried about big organisations buying land to avoid IHT..why didn't they just set the level of agricultural activity required per acre and anyone not achieving say 60% -70 % of crop expectation over a period of time, has to pay stamp duty. That will avoid land banking to avoid IHT and not using land procuctively as a food producing farm. Still thinking outside of the box of their ideology is not a strong point with Labour who just love to tax then spend and waste money.

I think the income tax threshold freeze is the biggest con! "We're not putting tax up, oh, but we're going to charge you more tax". Sneaky and quite nasty as it affects lowest earners more. New minimum wage is a 6.73% rise. For 37.5 hours a week annual take home would go up from £20,360 to £21,561.60, a 5.9% increase. But because the threshold doesn't get a similar rise, tax would go up from £1,947.60 to £2,247.90 which is a whopping 15.4% increase!

Labour lied to us. That's a surprise! But not to us voters born before 1984,we remember Tony Blair, the biggest disaster to happen to Europe since the second World War. Huge spending plans, that we are going to have to pay for. Unless they backtrack on the farmers well be witnessing the decline of food production in the UK. Have they learnt nothing from Ukraine.? Their prediction, in 5 years you'll have £13 more a week in your pocket.

It now costs me (my company) £10,000 in SDLT to buy the cheapest derelict un mortgageable house in my area. It’s not a 2nd home, it’s a sh1thole that I would buy to renovate and sell for a small profit. Enough to pay my wages and that of many tradesmen.

Then you have the council charging double, sometimes triple council tax whilst you’re carrying out the renovation. I’m now done with this, those houses can sit and rot!

We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.

We are being destroyed by fiscal drag. When they don't raise tax brackets inline with inflation and wage growth, everyone pays an increased proportion of their income in tax. They have raised taxes, they just do it in a way that most people don't realise or understand. Slimy.

High Tax
High borrowing
High spending
High debt
means nothing more than Job losses.
Employers will simply pass on the NI cost to employees. Running a business is going to be more expensive. They will cut back on hours , cut jobs and not hire any more staff. Not to mention businesses not having any more money to invest in their own business.
The markets are horrified at the amount of borrowing at an extra 150 billion pounds not to mention the fact that we are going to have to spend 100 billion pounds just to service our debt every year.
This is an irresponsible budget and a recipe for disaster for growth, jobs and the economy.
Are you economically illiterate?
what a perfect recipe for a recession and a great depression.
Coupled with High energy bills this indeed is a disaster in the making.

Our property roughly estimated value is around £750K and i live here with my brother, sister, one other and my brothers dad, so when he dies, he leaves everything to his son and then that would make us all homeless? (we don't want to sell, it's our home, but his death would bring government demons to our door demading 40% of 750K right?)

I honestly don't understand why any government hasn't fixed the way child tax credits are calculated. Theoretically a couple earning £49'500 each can get the full benefit but a couple where only one parent works and earns £51'000 will start to lose it is just archaiac and flawed. Genuinly, are the voting public apposed to fixing this? Because if not, it's a democracy… fix the blinking thing already!!
