Why china would allow CATL to sell batteries to tesla and compete with BYD. The only logical explanation is china does own a lot of tesla stocks secretly and they also don't want BYD to be over powerful, the same reason they didn't ban Apple in china.

You're incorrect about the charging capabilities of the BYD blade pack that's available in Europe. It actually has the best charging curve of any Tesla battery, and holds high charge rates up to 80% SoC.

why is there so much empasis on charge speed? i feel those that worry about that dont really understand why you should own an EV. Charge at home and current speed is plenty, you never use that basically.

In winter when one anyway has significant higher consumption the reconditioning of the battery is a double negative tap. As anyway often multiple chargers are occupied max charging isn’t possible - so a battery with the ability to charge at 125-150 kw at 0 C would be highly recommended!
