All New Minions/ Summons/ Summoner Staffs - Terraria 1.4 Journey's End - How to get summon weapons

A really cool mechanic re logic could add for summoners would be after getting a certain amount of hits on an enemy with one type of summon could give you a damage burst/debuff. Of course the amounts of hits would differ between summon weapons due to speed. This would make it so using different summons could give you better damage and just some cool depth to summoning and customizing your team of summons. Example: Hitting an enemy 10 times with the bird staff gives them a dive attack doing extra damage and a small spped buff to yourself and the birds.

lol how much health do those slimes have lol I thought all these staffs had bad damage but it was the slime that was just crazy

so how do you use the stardust guardian now (btw I'm on console) all it dose it stay in place but then again my other minions kill most ting before they get close enough

Stardust dragon staff has a very high chance to leave you to die while vulnerable. I was trying to make an afk farm in the hallow next to a marble biome for the rod of discord, and while trying to enter it after being killed by a Hollowed mimic, I get petrified by Medusa, so naturally stardust dragon decides to fight something off screen while I'm being attacked by 3 illuminant slimes, a skeleton archer, 4 illuminant bats, Medusa and a hop lite after taking 351 falling damage falling off the ufo mount withought wings or a lucky horseshoe. Basically I was dead instantly even with full vortex gear

To me the terraprisma is better than the stardust dragon buecaues it is possible to summon mmultiple of thm and it also has the moast damage out of every summon

Terra prisma is better then that giant flying (0(k, deals more aoe dps, van afk the lunar event, other events too

Srly, for something as difficulty as killing the Empress of Light during the Day...i find it Very weird that it is Still worse than the Stardust Dragon.

What about the snow flinx staff

what about the one from the ice biomw when you get the fur?

dont use icor use Betsy's wrath lowers even more defense only uses mana relatively easy to get

I remember hearing the vampire frog staff was buffed now its able to deal touch damage

I got the blade staff from queen slime

I on got the light lantern-it summons 4 light fragments that hits enemies times critical

I believe the blade staff was changed to now drop from Queen Slime

If you want to find out if the desert tiger staff doesn't get more powerful after the 9th summon you could download a mod that allows you to summon up to 1,000 summons and it allows you to see how many summons you have and you could summon if you're lazy like 100 desert tigers and see if the damage is more than usual and if it is then that would mean that it doesn't change appearance after the 9th summon but if the damage doesn't go up then that would mean that if you got the desert tiger staff and used it if you could have more than 9 summons that you should only use 9 summons on the desert tiger
