It was a pleasant surprise someone actually took the effort to blank off the risers on exterior steps. It’s so rare these days. Also congratulations on your betrothals to each other.

Why don't you get a small fan and put in there? To circulate the air and leave the door open

Why build second sub floor, just lay tar paper and add plywood, use your current framing for the second floor to reduce wait. Later seal the underside of the deck frame.

JMO, but I think it would be ok to wait for cooler weather in the fall before you start this project. You need a huge fan to at least move the air around. God bless you all. ❤

What was the black sealant you used around the perimeter to stop water leakage? We want to get some for our metal roof. Thank you so much really appreciated your energy on getting things done.

Overkill is good, it prevents problems down the road, my question is, shouldn't the floors be sealed and made waterproof before the walls are built?

Got get ya one or 2 of those 20" high velocity fans at a farm store. it will make working in there less miserable. I use those everywhere. They are a game changers. They work much better than the huge floor fans.

Eventually you might want a porch roof all around to devert rain and add outside living space. Eventually not now.

You need about 3 or 4 huge hurricane stand up fans. They work really good cooling. Cost bout 120 each on Amazon the good ones. Worth every cent. I often use them in the FL summer heat instead of putting my ac on lower.😊

To get rid of some of your extra body heat don't wear a hat or get a vented hat not the full hat that you are wearing

Little late to this but for others maybe build with Dricore Insul-Armor subfloor and Dricore smartwalls. Takes care of water/vapor barriers and insulation. Probably could put an inch of close cell spray foam on the walls. Walls wouldn't necessarily be perfectly round I guess.

How about a pedestal fan to give you some air movement. The heat in there would be exhausting! You poor thing. 😥🥵 stairs are perfect. Statement stairs, great job, looks fabulous. Is that a pool in the back ground? 👏👏👏👏👏💐🌻🌾

Brother! We’ve recently binge watched a bunch of y’all video’s! Y’all are some go getters! I had to come in a comment on this one though. Agreed with the vapor barrier. But dam bro you should have either figured out the door situation, or simply removed one of them dam panels if possible! Also mark those plates together. Nevertheless awesome work! And super entertaining/ and encouraging. We bought 20 acres and are trying to make something happen. Cheers! I see everything came out well!💪💪💪

I’m glad you have an audience that doesn’t know much because when I watched you build the stairs as an ex-framing contractor you didn’t take 1 1/2 off back of your stringers so your top step is an 1 1/2 wider than all the others must’ve not taken an 1 1/2 off the bottom because your top riser is 1 1/2 shorter than all the others this would fail an inspection “trip strip”
Rip out and replace !!!!

You could cut in a small door in the metal and that will be cooler for. By a small door may not be the size you are looking for, but a small or can always increase if want to a larger door.
In all looks looks great.
