BlueBay Grand Esmeralda Resort - A Complete Review Part 1

Here is part 1 of our travel review of the BlueBay Grand Esmeralda in Playa Del Carmen. The BlueBay Grand Esmeralda is located on the border of Playa del Carmen and Quintana Roo. It is located about 25 minutes from the airport. This is our 3rd time visiting Mexico and we always use NACHO TOURS for our transportation from the airport.(Phone number -52+998-198-4193) Very reliable, safe and reasonably priced. The check in process was very organized and quick. They didn't try to sell us too hard on the timeshare or excursions etc which we appreciated. They took us via golf cart to our room which was one of the best parts of our visit.

The resort isn't a mega resort but is large and has 3 pools, 6 restaurants and bars. The food was actually pretty good for the price that we paid and for being an all inclusive resort in Mexico.

This video shows you the pools, and the conditions of the beaches in Mexico. At this resort the beaches were not swimmable but just 20-25 minutes away in downtown Playa Del Carmen the beaches are amazing.
