Agnus Dei is the most beautiful piece I have ever heard!
The move from minor to major in the last frase and the bases last tone just break me everytime, so utterly heartrending!

This is NOT a good performance of this. Tony Kaljuste’s is the best

Klingt auch irgendwie oestlich, der Einfluss von mittelalterlicher Musik aus dem uebrigen Europa ist auch zu hören. Zum Beispiel im stellenweise dreiteiligen Takt.Das hatte man im Mittelalter sehr viel.

Interessante Musik auf jeden Fall. Sind die Katholischen Tage eine katholische kirchenmusikalische Veranstaltung? Als Evangelische bin ich da etwas aussen vor. Die Musik ist etwas anders als die Chormusik, die im Moment in den USA geschrieben wird und die ich sehr interessant und ansprechend finde. Da gibt es auch viel geistliche Musik.
