Fun fact: the budget for this movie was 43 million dollars.

They do not appear to be very worried about capture, They know they will be killed. Not to smart it seems.

Took 26 minutes to untie

They could easily untie each other by using their death. Or at least bring their hands in front through their feet. The slim & young one could do it very conveniently. BTW how do they direction the direction of their journey. Very stupid movie & I have passed over after 10 minutes.

I would like to thank everybody for the comments so that I didn't waste my time watching this disappointment of a movie! I don't know if it is disappointing but I'm gonna take everybody's word for it LOL

a pointless waste of time
in 1970 the 'under 30' population was at war with the 'over 30' population and took every opportunity to show them in a dystopian and primitive way. They suffered an early version of TDS and saw the WW2 generation as the enemy in every sense. This 'story' helped massage that notion and provided the intelligentsia with an artsy Orwellian 'moment of rage'.
Absolute rubbish and a waste of fine actors.
