ОтветитьSome different camera work and editing 👌🏾. Learn something also.
ОтветитьI have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6 Pentastar in it. Bought it new. I take very good care of my van. 11 years and not one single issue with that engine or trans. It is just as silent and powerful as the day I bought it. The engine has never been opened and all the factory accessories are still on it. Best damned car I have ever had. It's all about maintenance. Any engine will fail if not properly maintained.
ОтветитьIt’s Alex, the doc
ОтветитьDo a toolbox tour
ОтветитьThat 24 year ols truck looks amazing underneath with very little rust. In Eric O's neck of the woods (New York State) trucks can end up in the junk yard after 10 years due to rust
Ответитьwish i could work for ya alex, love this place , but im mobile now for a reason i know ups and downs, but i keep tellin myself theres more ups :) lol
Ответитьand mechanics are more liable then doctors or surgeons because were putting the whole damn family in that car down the highway lol keep the videos coming 💪💪💪💪💪
ОтветитьAwesome Parents
ОтветитьI disagree with the restaurant analogy. You go to restaurants for how they prepare the food and the quality of the food they provide. You don't specifically go to a mechanic because of the parts they provide unless it's the dealer or a shop that only uses OEM parts. You go for the combination of workmanship and price.
ОтветитьHello hope all is well. Talking about the up charge may could tell them to pickup a bottle of brake grease brake dust cleaner fluid WD everything we use to check it with. They don’t get it’s not just the part going on the vehicle. We got to put stuff on or use to keep that part good for them. Yall are awesome make a great team.
ОтветитьI like the air pressurized metal sprayers from Harbor Freight to hold my fluids, like brake cleaner, instead of aerosol cans. Just put your fluid in, pressurize with your shop air, and go.
ОтветитьGetting burnt out from repairing vehicles happens to every seasoned mechanic. Just keep making it happen one day at a tyme or minute by minute by minute, Doobie Brothers reference
ОтветитьI hate the cold too. Just makes ya miserable.
ОтветитьCan someone tell me where this guys shop is located? Love the stuff
ОтветитьSome people think y’all just got out of bed and just open the cracker jack box up

Ответитьgotta nip that entitlement outa those kids early! good job, you guys!
i understand that "blaaah" feeling alex gets. i do concrete and at the peak of our season in summer i get that "blaaah" feeling as jobs stack up and concrete sets fast, its starts feeling like the movie "groundhog day" where every day feels the same. what ive learned to do is to set daily and sometimes hourly goals for myself so it breaks up the monotony of the daily grind and its helped me for the past 15 yrs or so. diet is also very important along with vitamins. zinc, b3 and vitamin c are my go to's. i try and stay away from carbs and sugar and stick to protein and fats so i dont get the crash from carbs and sugar.
great vid as always guys.
still would like to know which model of autel your using as theres so many of them.
thanks.
What about this scam car have we put them in jail yet?
ОтветитьWhat about this scam car have we put them in jail yet?
ОтветитьJake, Daniel, peppermint stick, slit, beer, and NA quick blanket he’ll be all right
Best Jack Daniels, peppermint, stick Schlitz beer or Jack’s beer, and a hot blanket cover up for six hours you’ll be all right
That Alex the car doctor 😅
ОтветитьQuestion for you on parts. What do you think of parts from AZ/Adv Auto/Oreilly vs OEM parts (Like Toyota, Mopar, etc..) Are there parts that are fine from either? Are there parts that you think "If I replace this, then I would opt for OEM part, hands down."?
ОтветитьWhen it comes to ball joint aren’t they suppose to have some kind play in them even if they are new?
ОтветитьRegarding Dodge 3.5l V-6 (out of a 2010 Charger/Chry 300). The fuel filter you get at like AutoZone, a STP S2. It is physically bigger than the one that Mopar recommends, which is 4892339AA. Why is that?
Ответитьalex dont look like himself rest up brotha
ОтветитьCan't blame the engine if you run it hot. Never check the oil, you name it. Plus what you recently did showing the low fuel thing. You can't blame any engine, make or model if you neglect it. Your fan, out...
ОтветитьSaid but true Alex regarding repairs friends, family, and loved ones.
Sometimes, don't wanna pay for quality repairs even at more than half the price. Then, we wrong for cutting them off or refusing to repair
Most people don't have the money to afford a mechanic to do it all... Just saying y'all get the people that can now, because you cut out the "nonsense" that not all people provoke, but the few that do cause a big problem.
ОтветитьAlex, just bought a used 2019 ford f150 with a v8 and 10 speed transmission. Come to find out there are lawsuits out for the 10 speed transmissions and am experiencing some of the effects the lawsuits are talking about. Jerking, lurching, odd downshifting.
Any suggestions on what to do? I need the help
Who dirt bike ? It's always sticks out to me😂
Ответитьon that BMW you will need to drop that 2nd tank there is also crossover pipes and hoses (good idea to replace those while you are in there). DO NOT CUT the connectors off the oem hoses (or replacements) and replace with worm clamps. Clear the codes with ISTA or bimmergeeks pro tool. Also - i agree with Alex these pentastars are great engines. they have common problems (like anything else) but i've seen way more of them run well past 250k miles than broke down - there were some manufacturing issues that effected the lifters ("lash adjusters") - but industry wide almost all manufactures had an issue with lifters (from suppliers) for a certain year range. Man if you look after a pentastar it would probably run forever.
ОтветитьLove that flashlight. I bought them for gifts for people as well. The UV light on there showed me that I need to trim my cat's balls😂😂😂!
ОтветитьAs long as DIYs n alley mechanics r around good mechanics stay in business!😆
ОтветитьBro you ever set timing on 87 Buick 307 engine
ОтветитьThat's why I don't want a shop cause I don't have the patience to deal with people who know more than you but you're doing the work
ОтветитьY'all right no cash no gas but you trying to help everyone with out hurting your pocket 😊
Ответитьfirst job was at my dads shop. Started working there when i was 7 got paid every thursday and first thing i ever learned was how to repair tires. Now i have a tire shop that my father and i merged into a master diagnostic and custom wheel/tire shop.
Ответить2016+ Pentas are nearly flawless if taken care of. Except the f***ing plastic oil cooler/filter housing
ОтветитьIt mustve been a pentastar allergies doc. 😂
