The St.Thomas Parish council is a total waste of time, because if they we doing their job effectively, those houses should have never been constructed in a flood prone area.

Where the people living have nothing to do with capturing the Hilton beach and other properties are there between the sea and the pond. There’s a grade going up to wards the sea from the pond so the water not going to go into there house of the water in the pond is draining out to the sea in the appropriate way by the bar mouth which is now block. The source of the water to the pond is now been fuel by continually flowing from the underground water which is coming up from the hillside of the land from the residents side of the on the main side of Yallahs area.
There’s no river coming from the hills to carry the water into the sea so a few weeks after the rain the water comes up into springs into peoples yard and flows into the pond but because the the bar mouth is block causing the water to back up

Dump sand!?!? No bredda, sand is not the solution as it will sink or wash away with each rain.. They have to first line the road with rocks and then put marl or sand in between the crevices in the rocks. It's alarming though, that the went and built homes in the pond and then ask the government for intervention. smh!

That's a road I use too but if the side is dumped , the water will go westward to the houses on the front. Open the mouth and let the water into the sea. It was done before.
