Will this support a shoulder sling anywhere?
ОтветитьThat CQB stock looks like what happens when an abortion fails and the baby is born anyway
ОтветитьWhy not run a traditional red dot on the provided forward pic rail section? Everything I've read says run your red dot as far forward as you can on an AR.. why mount it right in front of the aperture sight?
ОтветитьLove the vids. Shot my cqb for the first time today. 50 yd, on the paper but not tight groups. Here’s my thing, a 6moa dot with astigmatism starburst just isn’t my thing, I could do better for sure. Watched your scout scope video and picked up a vortex cross 2. I haven’t shot with the scope yet but already like the traditional crosshairs. I didn’t know I had astigmatism until I bought an MRO and looked through it and thought wtf, this thing is broken…… getting older kinda sucks…
ОтветитьNothing beats a 30- 30 in thickets.
308 man thats a fast round.
Advice for 1" scope mounts for the scout scope. Need quick release.
ОтветитьGood shot for a red dot!
ОтветитьIf uze use my duralense u can put cross hairs in the glass & the glass wont break.
ОтветитьFor a hunting rifle the .308 is more than adequate and can take down the biggest game in North America. This rifle is not as accurate as others with longer barrels, but most hunters aren't gonna be trying to shoot an Elk at 500 yards.
The main reason for this rifle and the .308 in general in my opinion is so the patriots can have a gun that will shoot NATO ammunition. If the communists (or NAZIS) take over the government and disarm the public causing a civil war, guns like the 6.5 Creedmore & 7mm Remington Magnum rifles, 16 & 20 gauge shotguns and 357 Magnum & .380 pistols won't have ammunition available. BUT crooked (and perhaps patriot) quartermasters at the many military bases across America will be supplying ammo for the black market... and that ammo will be NATO ammo.
Be warned though. These traitors know everybody and his sister has an AR15 and they have vowed to take them away from us. The military has already discontinued the 5.56, so when SHTF, if an AR15 is your only long gun, better have ten thousand rounds stored up for it, because that ammo will dry up pretty fast.
If you are a patriot and can see the writing on the wall, arm up with a .308 Winchester, a good 12ga and a good 9mm Luger sidearm because those three will always have ammo available.
If you get the pic rail mount for that red dye and put it forward on your scope pick rail you’ll be able to see through your iron sites and the red dot
ОтветитьI have a scout squad and a socom 16 with a vltor stock (basically the cqb before there was a cqb) chambered in .308
It is my GOTO gun for hunting. It's especially useful for feral hogs since you usually have to hit multiple moving targets and .308 is like sending a car accident at your intended target.
I love that rifle sir. 👍
ОтветитьCan’t wait for mine to arrive now because of your review! Also love that include the the cons. Thank you, sir.
ОтветитьWeird. You deliberately make the rifle short, but at the same time leave a non-folding stock. Everyone makes a stock of adjustable length, but not retractable completely on its side. As a result, the rifle remains overall larger than it could be. Here you need an adjustable buttstock and retractable on its side with a pistol grip.
ОтветитьHi. Just wondering is the vortex venom 3 or 6 moa?
Thank you.
Just picked one up yesterday one thing having a hard time finding 10 round magazines
Ответить🫡
ОтветитьNice content. You helped me decide on keeping my Scout and not getting the socom. 👍👍
ОтветитьCordell Airborne Ranger Club- SF The Citadel
Probably need one...
The Citadel are a militia with full auto M-14s in the room. The switches in the armory but nothing ever said. They could have been called out for the Orangeburg riots.
Then Bush extended the the US Militia status for alumni like Texas A&M.
So I would assume a state regulated militia who carried the M-14 as acceptable. However, I prefer a paintbrush and a cheeseburger. The deadliest thing we had was the meatloaf or mystery meat patties in the mess hall. Took me out 2-3 times.
Good video but you kinda jabber on.
Ответитьcast junk
ОтветитьNew in box, sent back for pitting and rust in the barrel. I expect better from Springfield!!
ОтветитьJesus made the 3 OH ATE😂😂😂JKJKJK
ОтветитьDidnt even consider buying a M14 , but figured since Ive shot it a million times in the military I might as well. DIdnt know they had a CQB version and went with that. Then to finalize things I got a mini 14 to add with it. Def a collectors must have
ОтветитьI want one but that price tag
ОтветитьI am just curious did you zero your sights ?
I have only fired with steal sights , no scope. We zeroed at 50 meters.
Súng đeq qúa ,
ОтветитьNice, 12095 zip
ОтветитьAK & AR. nice for Plinking at my Range. Need to step up an Spend some Coin .. Love this M1A.
ОтветитьA beautiful rifle
ОтветитьI find it extremely easy to accurately hit targets at 200 yards with only iron sights. With a scout scope 400 is a breeze. I bought a gg&g extended rail for better eye relief . Super easy to install.
ОтветитьGood vid , i own several variations of the mini 30 , mini 14 and have my m1a scout on the way pretty pumped . Kind of was an impluse buy got a good deal on a trade so just studying it uo a bit .
ОтветитьYou can only shrink those groups so much. The M1A is really a 3ish MOA rifle. Combat effective for sure, but not a tac driver by any means.
ОтветитьFrom what I’ve seen on YT these are stupid simple to field-strip and/or change furniture
ОтветитьI'm always about $2000 short when it comes to guns.
ОтветитьI laughed when you said it's not that loud😂
ОтветитьMD won’t let me buy this mf
ОтветитьI’m looking at one of these would love to get an original, because you always have to have the original version just because. But I’m also looking at getting the best way to modernize this for I guess me I’m not a prepper or anything like that I’m an old vet and I like practicality. I like SHF practical stuff. Not that I think it ever will in my lifetime, not the way people think anyways. It’s going to creep in on us before we even know it. But, the platform would be modern and versatile and best suited for the original weapon I think. I’ve seen there’s a scout set up with this and I don’t consider the set up you have a scout, but I’m not an expert. But I do love your set up.
ОтветитьKnow what was impressive was how old that Ammunition was nobody paid attention to that ammunition was marked the year 1981
ОтветитьLoved the way it looked, but I could not get that mount and optic to work correctly. The mount and/or optic would not give you enough adjustment to correctly zero.
ОтветитьI have the full size M1A, loaded, black synthetic stock, semi heavy barrel and match trigger and sights. Years later got the FN SCAR 17 so i woukdnt have to buy a bunch of new ammo in 5.56. Much prefer thr SCAR 17. Much mkre modern design, mich better ergonomics, easier to field strip and clean. But the M1A SOCO 16 is a great camp rifle. Compact powerful, will drop most 4 legged critters and ANY 2 legged predator.
ОтветитьDoes the ejection hit the vortex red dot ?
ОтветитьWorking on getting one
ОтветитьJust purchased this. For a beginner who likely can also only afford one optic purchase and this will likely be my do all rifle for the foreseeable future, do you recommend a red dot, the scout scope, an acog, or just irons?
ОтветитьFrom the factory, how many MOA does the Socom 16 do at 100 yards with the iron sight?
ОтветитьHey! Great information. Thanks!
ОтветитьWell I love the gun! It is not as cheap as I would like it to be. But what is? I am getting long in the tooth so heavy guns are getting to much to lug around all day hunting but this rifle is so cool it is a pleasure to use! I just use the stock iron sights. have hit everything I shot at including a coyote at a full run! I think it was worth the money Springfield is tops in being helpful. Thats worth a few extra peso's to me!
